  Description

  We are a family consisting of two adults (my husband and I), two girls aged 9 and 14, a Labrador Retriever, and a cat. During July, my husband and I work mornings, so I would like to host a young woman, over 20 years old, to look after the girls in the mornings, help with some housework, and also do some summer activities. Our house is large, with its own pool and garden, and we live just 200 meters from the beach on the Costa del Sol. I think it could be a wonderful experience for everyone!
  
  Somos una familia integrada por dos adultos (mi marido y yo), dos niñas de 9 y 14 años, un perro (labrador) y una gatita. Durante el mes de Julio mi marido y yo trabajamos por las mañanas, por lo que me gustaría recibir a una chica, mayor de 20 años, para que se quede al cuidado de las niñas durante las mañanas, realicen alguna tarea del hogar, así como actividades de ocio propias del verano. Nuestra casa es grande, tiene piscina propia y jardín, y además vivimos a 200m de la playa en plena Costa del Sol. Creo que la experiencia puede ser muy bonita para todos!!!

  Help

  We primarily welcome an English-speaking au pair so the whole family can practice our English (especially my daughters). During the mornings, she will help with household chores, such as doing laundry, sweeping the living room, and most importantly, spending time with the girls playing, in the pool, or at the beach!
  
  Necesitamos principalmente una Au Pair de habla inglesa, para que toda la familia podamos practicar nuestro inglés (en especial mis hijas). Durante la mañana realizará tareas propias del hogar junto con ellas: como poner una lavadora, barrer el salón y sobre todo, pasar tiempo con las niñas jugando, en la piscina ,o la playa!!!

  Accommodation

  Large detached house with its own garden and pool; very quiet, located in a safe residential area of a small coastal town, very well situated with bus, taxi, and Bolt services just 200 meters from the house. The Workaway host will have a separate bedroom on the first floor with an en-suite bathroom (with shower) next door. The other bedrooms are on the second floor, so the Workaway host will enjoy complete privacy during their stay. The house is very clean; I have a weekly cleaning service, which will continue throughout the Workaway host's stay. We cook homemade meals daily, and it would be great to exchange recipes and try our guest's cooking; therefore, I would appreciate it if they knew how to cook a few dishes.
  
  Vivienda unifamiliar grande, con jardín y piscina propios; muy tranquila, situada en zona residencial muy segura de un pequeño pueblo de costa muy bien localizado y con servicios de bus, taxi, bolt/etc a 200m de la casa. La workawayer disfrutará de un dormitorio independiente situado en la primera planta, con baño (con ducha) al lado. El resto de dormitorios están en la segunda planta, por lo que la workawayer disfrutará de total intimidad durante la estancia. La casa está muy limpia, tengo un servicio de limpieza semanal contratado, que por su puesto se mantiene durante la estancia de la workawayer. La comida es casera, cocinamos a diario y estaría genial intercambiar recetas y probar la cocina de nuestra invitada; por lo que me gustaría que supiera cocinar algunos platos.

  What else ...

  During your free time in the afternoon, you can visit many nearby towns and beaches (the bus stop is 200 meters from the house). On weekends, you can travel by train, plane, or bus to visit cities and towns in Andalusia, and even beyond, thanks to the excellent high-speed rail connection from Malaga and the airport located there. Our town is less than half an hour from Malaga by bus.
  1. General Rules of Coexistence
  - Maintain mutual respect at all times (tone of voice, privacy, schedules).
  - Let us know if you will be arriving late or will not be sleeping at home.
  - Keep common areas tidy after using them.
  - Respect family customs (meal times, children's routines, etc.).
  2. Childcare - The safety and well-being of the children is always the priority.
  - Do not use your mobile phone during childcare except in emergencies.
  - Follow established routines (meals, naps, homework).
  - Inform the parents of any incidents or significant changes.
  3. Household Chores
  - Only light tasks related to the children (picking up toys, preparing simple meals, doing laundry).
  - Deep cleaning of the house is not expected.
  - Keep your own room clean and tidy.
  - Cooking skills are a plus.
  4. Meals
  - You can eat the same food as the family.
  - Please inform us of any dietary restrictions.
  - Occasional help with simple tasks (setting the table, clearing up) is welcome.
  5. Visits and Outings
  - Please notify us before inviting anyone to your home.
  - Please respect quiet hours upon returning home in the evening.
  - Do not bring visitors without prior permission.
  6. Important Rules
  - No smoking inside the house (smoking is allowed in the garden).
  - No drug use.
  - Alcohol is allowed only in leisure time and in moderation.
  
  
  Durante el tiempo libre de la tarde podrá visitar multitud de localidades y playas cercanas (la parada de bus está a 200m de casa). Durante los fines de semana en tren/avión/bus podrá visitar ciudades y pueblos de Andalucía, e incluso de fuera de la comunidad, ya que están muy bien comunicadas gracias al tren de alta velocidad desde Málaga y el aeropuerto en la misma. Nuestra localidad se encuentra a menos de media hora de Málaga en bus.
  1. Normas generales de convivencia
  - Mantener el respeto mutuo en todo momento (tono, privacidad, horarios).
  - Avisar si vas a llegar tarde o no dormir en casa.
  - Mantener ordenados los espacios comunes después de usarlos.
  - Respetar las costumbres familiares (horarios de comida, rutinas de los niños, etc.).
  2. Cuidado de los niños
  - La prioridad es siempre la seguridad y bienestar de los niños.
  - No usar el móvil durante el cuidado salvo emergencias.
  - Seguir las rutinas establecidas (comidas, siestas, deberes).
  - Informar a los padres de cualquier incidente o cambio importante.
  3. Tareas domésticas
  - Solo tareas ligeras relacionadas con los niños (recoger juguetes, preparar comidas sencillas, lavar su ropa).
  - No se espera limpieza profunda del hogar.
  - Mantener su propia habitación limpia y ordenada.
  - Se valorará si sabe cocinar algo.
  4. Comidas
  - Puede comer lo mismo que la familia.
  - Avisar si tiene restricciones alimentarias.
  - Colaborar ocasionalmente en tareas simples (poner la mesa, recoger).
  5. Visitas y salidas
  - Avisar antes de invitar a alguien a casa.
  - Respetar horarios de descanso al llegar por la noche.
  - No traer visitas sin permiso previo.
  6. Normas importantes
  - No fumar dentro de la casa (en el jardín sí).
  - No consumo de drogas.
  - Alcohol solo en tiempo libre y con moderación.
