This is a fabulous opportunity to run my Yoga Centre in the pretty Spanish village at the same time earning a wage.

In exchange you will be able to experience Spanish culture. October is fiesta month. And also our village fiesta around the 12th October which lasts for 3 days..

We are 40 mins from the beautiful Almerian coastline including Mojacar, Garrucha and Vera. The stunning Cabo de Gata national park is about an hour away.

I need a qualified Hatha Yoga teacher to cover my classes whilst I’m away on teacher training courses/retreats to take over the general help of our small Yoga Centre. (not necessarily with experience as here you will have the opportunity to gain some)

    4 weeks teaching 13th January 2020 until 10th February 2020 (Placement Filled)
I would need you to arrive before I leave on the 8th January (ideally on Sunday 5th) to help settle you in and for you to teach a few classes.

    2 weeks teaching 25th May until 4th June 2020
I would need you to arrive before I leave on the 24th May (ideally on Tuesday 19th) to help settle you in and for you to teach a few classes.

My classes are small (Max 9 people) and I teach traditional Integral Yoga® Beginners/Intermediate & Advanced which includes Pranayama, Asana, Yoga Nidra and Meditation.

    Classes run Monday-Thursday.
At the moment the schedule is:
    Monday: 10-11.30am, 12-1.30pm
    Tuesday: 10-11.30am & 12-1.30pm
    Wednesday: 9.30-11.15am & 6-7.30pm (in Spanish)
    Thursday: 9.30-11.15am

Tuesday & Thursday 5-6pm: Free Yoga Classes provided by our local Town Hall in a space they provide. (In Spanish) (max 16)

My students are mostly retired ex-pats.

Also general help in the home to include shared cooking and cleaning.

Some spoken Spanish is needed as this is not a tourist area and I have Spanish students in the evening class.

If you are an Holistic Therapist then possibly you can volunteer at the Holistic Day for Charity held the 2nd Friday of each month.

    What else ...

There is so much to explore here!!

But very little public transport so ideally you will need your own transport.

ALSA Bus service does a twice daily service to Granada and once a day to the coast.

There is the possibility of jumping in the family car to join in any excursions. Or making friends with the Yoga students and joining them on their trips out.

You have the use of a mountain bike.

There is a small shop in the village selling basics, a supermarket 5 mins by car.
