    Description

Hi, I’m Tanusha, a traveler, an avid reader, an explorer. What I explore depends on where I am and what my current obsession is , but when travelling my interests generally include history, culture, galleries and libraries. When I’m not travelling I’m usually busy with academia.

I was pursuing my second Master’s program in England when I had to return home to tend to a long-standing injury. I’m currently on a break from studies, catering to my health and that is what I primarily need help with.

We live in Chandigarh—four hours both from the hills in Shimla and from the capital city, New Delhi. Chandigarh is not touristy per se, but there are things you could do in the city—a walk by the long bank of Sukhna Lake in the evening, explore the inspired Rock Garden, enjoy the blossoms in the expansive Zakir Hussain Rose Garden, not to mention the variety of birds at Chandigarh Birds Park. These are all outdoor spots for those who seek nature and the open skies.

We love to talk and share stories, so your anecdotes and experiences are very welcome. :)
We have a small collection of books that you can engage with during your stay with us.

I’ve been around India, so I’m sure I can be of help in making some sense of the many cultures and languages that make up this land. I can also assist you with your itinerary around the country.

Besides, we live in a predominantly Punjabi community, so, you can partake in the local customs of the upcoming festivals of Gurupurab and Lohri.

I’m currently based in Chandigarh—the city beautiful they call it—recuperating from an ACL surgery. We are a family of four, but at home it’s just me and my mum. She is a working woman, so we’d like someone who can help with my physio rehab exercise in her absence.

You don’t need to be a fitness instructor or a physiotherapist to help me with my regime. The rehab protocol is predetermined, so just someone who can keep count and monitor my progress for me is great. Apart from this, we would welcome help preparing dinner for four people—my mum, my attendant, me and you! :)

Chandigarh is a shared capital of two states, so we are well connected via rail, road and air. Both Chandigarh railway station and Chandigarh International Airport are 30 minutes from our place. Connectivity by road includes local buses, auto rickshaws, and Uber.
