English or Italian speaker to teach our daughter and help with DIY projects in Petreto-Bicchisano, France

  Description

  Our farm is isolated in the middle of 5 ha of forest: absolute calm... We are looking for a bilingual English or Italian person who can provide 1/2 to 1 hour/day of lessons for our daughter. The rest of the time, if you like DIY, our projects, most of which are well advanced, are as follows: creation of a chicken coop, finishing of a 25 m2 dwelling, help with the vegetable garden, collection and storage of firewood, heating. You are housed in a large tent with access to our house (toilet and shower room). For all the projects planned, you are never alone, but with my husband (DIY expert and who will pass on his know-how to you). Animals accepted on condition that they are never on a leash or attached. We have a sociable and kind Patou and 3 cats. Meals are taken together and the hot days of Corsica require working only early in the morning and late in the afternoon.
  
  Notre ferme est isolée au milieu de 5 ha de forêt : calme absolu... Nous cherchons une personne bilingue anglais ou italien qui puisse assurer 1/2 h à 1 heure/jour de cours pour notre fille. Le reste du temps, si vous aimez le bricolage, nos projets, dont la plupart sont bien avancés, sont les suivants : création d'un poulailler, finition d'un logement de 25 m2, aide au potager, ramassage et stockage de bois de chauffage. Vous êtes logés dans une grande tente avec accès à notre maison (toilettes et salle d'eau). Pour tous les travaux prévus, vous n'êtes jamais seuls, mais avec mon mari (expert en bricolage et qui vous transmettra son savoir-faire). Animaux acceptés à condition qu'ils ne soient jamais en laisse ni attachés. Nous avons un Patou sociable et gentil et 6 chats. Les repas sont pris en commun et les journées chaudes de Corse commandent de travailler seulement tôt le matin et tard dans l'après-midi.

  Help

  Mainly, you will assist my husband in the renovation of an outbuilding as described above. If there is time, you will collect and store the wood. With me, you will have some odd projects in the vegetable garden. With our daughter, we would like you to give some English or Italian lessons, if it is your mother tongue only (30 to 60 min/day).
  
  Principalement, vous assisterez mon mari dans la rénovation d'une dépendance comme décrit plus haut. S'il reste du temps, vous assurerez le ramassage et le stockage du bois. Avec moi, vous aurez quelques menus travaux au potager. Avec notre fille, nous aimerions que vous donniez quelques cours d'anglais ou d'italien, si c'est votre langue maternelle uniquement (à raison de 30 à 60 min/jour).

  Accommodation

  You stay in a large tent (usually intended for 4 people) and you will have access to the outbuildings in our house. The days are punctuated by help and meals, which are taken together and at fixed times. Internet connection is possible and unlimited.
  
  Vous logez dans une grande tente (d'ordinaire destinée à 4 personnes) et vous aurez accès aux communs dans notre habitation. Les journées sont rythmées par le travail et les repas, qui sont pris en commun et à heure fixe. La connexion internet est possible et illimitée.

  What else ...

  If you are transported, you can come to us. With a 4x4, you can go down to the farm (and above all back up... to the entrance). Otherwise, we drive you. We can pick you up at the airport (Ajaccio or Figari) or at the port (Ajaccio or Propriano). Access by bus is possible to the village where we live.
  
  Si vous êtes véhiculés, vous pourrez venir jusqu'à chez nous. Avec un 4x4, vous pourrez descendre jusqu'à la ferme (et surtout remonter... jusqu'à l'entrée). Sinon, nous vous véhiculons. Nous pouvons venir vous chercher à l'aéroport (Ajaccio ou Figari) ou au port (Ajaccio ou Propriano). Des accès en bus sont possibles jusqu'au village où nous habitons.
