We are the first vegan beach resort in Zambales, Philippines. We began this project in April 2019 because we wanted to have a business that promotes sustainable living and at the same time have a great cause. We want to bring awareness to people about our advocacy to help animals and the environment. Our goal is to connect ourselves and help others connect themselves to our planet. We are by no means a typical "health and wellness" resort so drinking and smoking in designated areas are allowed.
We only serve vegan food but we allow our non vegan guests and staff to eat meat.
DIY and building projects
Creating/ Cooking family meals
Our beach provides a great opportunity to learn how to surf and skimboard.
If you're into seeing sights and trekking, we have a few waterfalls and hiking trails around the area and the nearby towns. There's also a cool museum nearby.
You can also mingle with the locals here and trade stories.
We're known to have really great vegan food so you'll also learn how to prepare veganized Filipino food
We appreciate any help that we can get but here's where we'd like to focus on:
gardening - mostly watering plants, pulling and trimming weeds
teaching - we're looking for qualified yoga, surfing and mma teachers
art project - painting signs and wall arts
General maintenance - helping with housekeeping
Our volunteers will be staying in our staff house and will be sharing a room with other volunteers.
We have 3 rooms with single bunk beds and a fan in each room, 2 bathrooms that's exclusive for staff use, there's also an outdoor kitchen if you want to prepare your own meals.
some of your meals will be prepared for you when our cook is at the resort (this will be always be vegan) but there will be days that you'll need to prepare your own food (this doesn't need to be vegan) but the budget will be coming from us.
When you're not working, you can chill by the beach and watch the sunset, you can practice surfing if the waves permit it. You're free to talk to guests as well.
You may also borrow our scooter and explore San Felipe and the nearby towns. You'll need to provide the gas though
