    Welcome to our family!

We are a family of four living in a big house with a garden, vegetable patch, ducks, and chickens, in a small village called Teià, near Barcelona. We are Víctor, Aina, and our two children, Max (5 years old) and Inti (3 years old). We love nature, cycling, hiking in the mountains with our camper van, playing board games, and spending time with friends.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Staying with us will give you the chance to experience life in a small Catalan village while being close to the vibrant city of Barcelona. You’ll learn about Catalan and Spanish culture, our traditions, and family life.

We love spending time outdoors, so you’ll have the opportunity to explore nature, go hiking, cycling, and visit beautiful places along the Costa Brava during the summer. You can also experience local festivals, Catalan cuisine, and practice both Spanish and Catalan with us.

We are eager to share our lifestyle, including gardening, taking care of our animals, and showing you how we live sustainably.

If you want to improve your Spanish or learn a bit of Catalan, we’re happy to help you! In return, we’d love for you to share your culture and language with us and especially with our kids.

We are looking for an energetic, outgoing person who loves children, nature, and sports. Your main role will be helping us with the kids in the afternoons (from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.) from June to September. During this time, we’ll also spend some weeks at the Costa Brava.

You will have your own private bedroom and an external bathroom for your exclusive use. We offer 100 € per week, meals included, and two weeks of holidays in July.

In our home, we speak Spanish and Catalan, but we are looking for someone who speaks native English and has some basic Spanish skills.
