We are shipibo family and live in the community in San Rafael. San Rafael is small community village located 2 hours from Pucallpa and 8km of the city Massisea.

    How to get here:
You need to take a boat from Pucallpa (dock close to Plaza de Armas) and find the boat going to Massisea. Boats are leaving every day, but not often. You can choose if you want to take slow boat or fast boat. Slow boat leaves at 8am, take 6 hours and cost 7 sol. Fast boat leaves at 2pm, take 2.5 hours and cost 15 sol. It might be challenging to find a right boat going to Massisea. But when you are at the dock, ask other captains of the boats, they will help you. When you will get to Massisea, take a mototaxi to San Rafael. All drivers know my name so it shouldn't be a problem get to my house. We live 8km away from the Massisea and it cost 10 sol per person. It might be 15 sol if you are just 1 person. Don't pay more.

The life here is very basic. We exploit our essential needs manufacturing all the resources that jungle provides. Fishing is carried out by men while women dedicate household, care of the children and making traditional art such as needlecraft and jewelery.

I celebrate ayahuasca ceremonies selflessly and three times a week with all the people who visit the family and wish to do so. You can also be attending on these ceremonies.
Volunteers who want to come need to have a sensitivity to people who are going into a deep healing process.

Contact me in Spanish. We don't speak english.

Buscaras botes a Massisea.
