    Description

Hello, I’m a single woman in my mid-40s, and I live with my dog and one more housemate.
I'm in Seoul near Shindaebang Station. My place is about 20 minutes from the station.

    🐶 Dog
    I have a small dog.
She’s shy and old, afraid of strangers, and stays in my room most of the time.
so you won’t need to worry about her disturbing you.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Showing you around local spots like markets, cafes, and the neighborhood.

I’d also love to share Korean culture with you through daily life, such as simple home-cooked meals, local experiences, and conversations together. I hope you can experience what it’s like to live in Korea beyond just traveling.

I like to create a friendly and comfortable environment where we can interact like housemates or friends, rather than just host and guest. I’m always happy to chat, share experiences, and spend some time together when possible. I can also introduce you to my sibling, who enjoys meeting people from different countries, and we can spend some time together.

Through this exchange, I hope you can learn about Korean lifestyle and culture, and I would also love to learn about your culture, language, and experiences.

    Help

I’m looking for a female English tutor.
I’d prefer someone with relevant certifications or teaching experience,
as I’m quite shy and would feel more comfortable with someone who can guide me well.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

You’ll have your own room, and we share the kitchen and bathroom.
The room has a bed, desk, and clothes rack (no air conditioner) .

    🚍 Location
Please note that my place is not close to the subway station.
It’s about a 15-minute bus ride from Shindaebang Station,
but the bus stop is just a minute’s walk from the house. and bus comes every 4min.

Once you reach the subway, you can easily travel anywhere in Seoul — Gangnam, Hongdae, Itaewon, Myeongdong, and more.

I usually provide simple meals like bread and cereal, and from time to time I’d love to cook some Korean dishes for you to try.
