  Our home and the surrounding area
  
  We live in a quiet area surrounded by vineyards and countryside. Life here is quite peaceful, which is why we like it so much. It is a place suited to those who enjoy the outdoors, going for walks, cycling or simply living without too much noise around them.
  
  At the same time, it is a convenient area. The town centre and supermarkets are about a fifteen to twenty-minute walk away. The train station is a five-minute walk from the house. From there, you can get to Turin with just one change, so it is easy to go into town when you feel like it and then return to a quieter place.
  
  It is a good solution for those looking for a simple, green and relaxed environment that is not isolated.
  
  Our pets
  
  Our pets also live in the house and are very important to us. We have two cats, Mezcal and Martini. They are calm, affectionate and used to having people around. They are not intrusive and are also comfortable with visitors.
  
  We also have a one-year-old dog, Kelby. He is sociable, playful and very affectionate. He lives with the cats without any problems and is used to their presence. He loves going out, going for walks and being with people.
  
  When we travel, we look for someone who is comfortable with animals and enjoys taking care of them on a daily basis. We don't ask for anything complicated, just attention, presence and a little company for them.
  
  La nostra casa e la zona
  
  Viviamo in una zona tranquilla, circondata da vigneti e campagna. Qui la vita è piuttosto calma e a noi piace proprio per questo. È un posto adatto a chi ama stare all’aria aperta, fare passeggiate, andare in bici o semplicemente vivere senza troppo rumore intorno.
  
  Allo stesso tempo è una zona comoda. Il centro del paese e i supermercati si raggiungono a piedi in circa quindici o venti minuti. La stazione del treno è a cinque minuti a piedi da casa. Da lì si può arrivare a Torino con un solo cambio, quindi è facile andare in città quando se ne ha voglia e poi tornare in un posto più tranquillo.
  
  È una buona soluzione per chi cerca un ambiente semplice, verde e rilassato, ma non isolato.
  
  I nostri animali
  
  In casa vivono anche i nostri animali, che per noi sono molto importanti. Abbiamo due gatti, Mezcal e Martini. Sono tranquilli, affettuosi e abituati ad avere persone intorno. Non sono invadenti e stanno bene anche con chi passa del tempo in casa.
  
  Abbiamo anche un cane di un anno, Kelby. È socievole, giocherellone e molto affettuoso. Vive con i gatti senza problemi ed è abituato alla loro presenza. Ama uscire, fare passeggiate e stare con le persone.
  
  Quando viaggiamo cerchiamo qualcuno che si trovi a proprio agio con gli animali e che abbia piacere a occuparsi di loro nella quotidianità. Non chiediamo nulla di complicato, solo attenzione, presenza e un po’ di compagnia per loro.

  What it's like to live here
  
  Staying with us means experiencing everyday life in a small village in Piedmont, surrounded by vineyards and nature. It is not a tourist area, but a real setting, with a slower pace and simple customs.
  
  During your stay, while taking care of the house and animals, you will be able to live like a local. Walks through the vineyards, bike rides in the surrounding countryside, shopping in local supermarkets, simple meals and quiet evenings are all part of life here.
  
  At the same time, Turin is close by and easily accessible by train. With just one change, you can get there in about forty-five minutes to an hour, so it's possible to spend the day in the city. There are museums, cafés, cultural events and a lively urban life, and then you can return in the evening to a greener and quieter environment.
  
  This exchange is suitable for those who appreciate a good balance between tranquillity and the possibility of getting around. On the one hand, a simple life surrounded by nature, on the other, proximity to a big city. In return, we seek respect, responsibility and openness in sharing everyday life.
  
  Com’è vivere qui
  
  Stare da noi significa vivere la quotidianità di un piccolo paese in Piemonte, circondato da vigneti e natura. Non è una zona turistica, ma un contesto reale, con ritmi più lenti e abitudini semplici.
  
  Durante il soggiorno, mentre ti occupi della casa e degli animali, potrai vivere come una persona del posto. Passeggiate tra i vigneti, giri in bici nella campagna intorno, spesa nei supermercati locali, pasti semplici e serate tranquille fanno parte della vita qui.
  
  Allo stesso tempo Torino è vicina e facilmente raggiungibile in treno. Con un solo cambio si arriva in circa quarantacinque minuti o un’ora, quindi è possibile passare la giornata in città. Ci sono musei, caffè, eventi culturali e una vita urbana vivace, per poi rientrare la sera in un ambiente più verde e silenzioso.
  
  Questo scambio è adatto a chi apprezza un buon equilibrio tra tranquillità e possibilità di muoversi. Da una parte una vita semplice e immersa nella natura, dall’altra la vicinanza a una grande città. In cambio cerchiamo rispetto, responsabilità e apertura nel condividere la vita quotidiana.

  Who we are looking for
  
  We are looking for a responsible, calm person who is comfortable with animals, enjoys taking care of them on a daily basis and following a routine.
  
  The main responsibility is to take care of our dog and cats while we are away. Our dog, Kelby, is one year old, sociable, affectionate and used to living with cats. He can be left alone in the house for a maximum of three to four hours a day, so we are looking for someone who is present and spends most of their time at home. Kelby needs three walks a day, which are part of his routine.
  
  We are looking for someone who has experience with dogs and a basic knowledge of dog training. It is important to know how to use a leash correctly, respect routines and communicate calmly and consistently with a young dog.
  
  Our two cats are quite independent and easy to manage. One of them, Mezcal, is diabetic and needs simple treatment every morning, which is easy to administer. Because of this condition, he may occasionally urinate outside the litter tray. Otherwise, he is calm and affectionate. The other cat, Martini, is very easy to manage and does not require any special attention.
  
  Daily activities also include cleaning the litter tray, keeping the house tidy and normal housekeeping as part of everyday life.
  
  This experience is particularly suitable for those who work remotely, are passing through the area or are looking for temporary accommodation for around two weeks. In exchange for looking after the animals, we offer free accommodation for this period. During our absence, we can leave basic food supplies in the house, but you will need to provide for any personal dietary requirements or preferences yourself.
  
  If you appreciate a peaceful environment, enjoy working from home and feel comfortable caring for animals with attention and responsibility, this experience may be right for you.

  Cerchiamo una persona responsabile, tranquilla e a proprio agio con gli animali, che abbia piacere a occuparsi di loro nella vita quotidiana e a seguire una routine.
  
  La responsabilità principale è prendersi cura del nostro cane e dei nostri gatti mentre siamo via. Il nostro cane, Kelby, ha un anno, è socievole, affettuoso ed è abituato a vivere con i gatti. Può restare solo in casa per un massimo di tre o quattro ore al giorno, quindi cerchiamo qualcuno che sia presente e che passi buona parte del tempo a casa. Kelby ha bisogno di tre passeggiate al giorno, che fanno parte della sua routine.
  
  Cerchiamo una persona che abbia esperienza con i cani e una conoscenza di base dell’educazione cinofila. È importante saper usare correttamente il guinzaglio, rispettare le routine e comunicare in modo calmo e coerente con un cane giovane.
  
  I nostri due gatti sono abbastanza indipendenti e facili da gestire. Uno di loro, Mezcal, è diabetico e ha bisogno di una semplice terapia ogni mattina, facile da somministrare. A causa di questa condizione, può capitare occasionalmente che faccia pipì fuori dalla lettiera. Per il resto è tranquillo e affettuoso. L’altro gatto, Martini, è molto semplice da gestire e non richiede attenzioni particolari.
  
  Le attività quotidiane includono anche la pulizia della lettiera, il mantenere la casa in ordine e una normale cura degli spazi come parte della vita di tutti i giorni.
  
  Questa esperienza è adatta soprattutto a chi lavora da remoto, a chi è di passaggio nella zona o a chi cerca una sistemazione temporanea di circa due settimane. In cambio della cura degli animali offriamo l’alloggio gratuito per questo periodo. Durante la nostra assenza possiamo lasciare in casa del cibo di base, mentre per esigenze o preferenze alimentari personali sarà necessario provvedere autonomamente.
  
  Se apprezzi un ambiente tranquillo, ti trovi bene a lavorare da casa e ti senti a tuo agio nel prenderti cura degli animali con attenzione e responsabilità, questa esperienza può essere adatta a te.

  You will stay in our flat and have access to all the comforts of home. The flat is clean, safe and well equipped, suitable for a comfortable stay.
  
  You will sleep in a double bed and have your own space. The flat has a stable internet connection, also suitable for remote working. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a microwave, kettle, toaster and oven.
  
  The flat is located on the fourth floor and is easily accessible by lift.
  
  We will be away during your stay, so the flat will be entirely at your disposal. We only ask that it be treated with care and kept tidy as part of normal daily life.
  
  As for food, we can leave some basic groceries in the house. For specific dietary requirements or personal preferences, you will need to provide for yourself.
  
  The accommodation offers a comfortable, quiet and well-connected base in exchange for looking after our pets.

  Soggiornerai nel nostro appartamento e avrai accesso a tutti i comfort della casa. L’appartamento è pulito, sicuro e ben attrezzato, adatto a un soggiorno confortevole.
  
  Dormirai in un letto matrimoniale e avrai uno spazio tutto tuo. In casa è presente una connessione internet stabile, adatta anche al lavoro da remoto. La cucina è completamente attrezzata e include microonde, bollitore, tostapane e forno.
  
  L’appartamento si trova al quarto piano ed è facilmente raggiungibile tramite ascensore.
  
  Durante il tuo soggiorno saremo via, quindi l’appartamento sarà interamente a tua disposizione. Chiediamo solo che venga trattato con cura e mantenuto in ordine come parte della normale vita quotidiana.
  
  Per quanto riguarda il cibo, possiamo lasciare in casa alcuni alimenti di base. Per esigenze alimentari specifiche o preferenze personali, sarà necessario provvedere autonomamente.
  
  L’alloggio offre una base comoda, tranquilla e ben collegata, in cambio della cura dei nostri animali.

  House rules
  
  Our animals are our ABSOLUTE PRIORITY. Their well-being, safety and daily routines come first.
  
  During our absence, we ask for random updates, with PHOTOS AND SHORT VIDEOS of the dog and cats.
  
  Routines must ALWAYS BE RESPECTED, including walks, meal times, medication and daily care.
  
  The flat must be treated with RESPECT and kept CLEAN AND TIDY.
  
  These rules are NON-NEGOTIABLE. If you feel comfortable taking care of the animals and communicating with us during our absence, this experience can work very well.

  Digital nomads La nostra casa è adatta a digital nomads che lavorano da remoto e cercano un ambiente tranquillo. La connessione internet è stabile, anche se nella nostra zona non è disponibile la fibra. Per il lavoro quotidiano da remoto come email, videochiamate e attività online la connessione funziona bene. Se invece il tuo lavoro richiede il caricamento di file molto grandi o molti gigabyte di dati, l’upload da casa può essere lento e richiedere diverse ore. In questo caso possiamo indicare alcuni posti nei dintorni dove la connessione è più veloce. La routine quotidiana con gli animali si integra bene con il lavoro da remoto. Kelby può restare da solo per circa tre o quattro ore, ma non tutti i giorni. Uscite occasionali per una mattinata o mezza giornata, ad esempio per andare a Torino, vanno benissimo. Se hai esperienza con i cani e ti senti sicur* nel gestirli e in base alla situazione, potremmo valutare la possibilità di portare Kelby con te quando esci. Questa opzione verrà considerata solo se riteniamo che sia sicura e adatta per lui. Questa esperienza è più adatta a digital nomads con orari flessibili, che apprezzano una routine tranquilla, la presenza in casa e un equilibrio tra lavoro e cura responsabile degli animali.
