Description
Hey! I’m Andy (Long Phyugen), I’m really passionate about expanding this beautiful village into a
more cultural diverse place by inviting international travellers in. I love nature, hiking, going to the beach and remaining healthy by working out. I speak pretty good English but am always still learning and love sharing stories, laughter and fun while working hard to create a place where people want to come and create life long memories by the sea. I treat all my staff like family and volunteers are no different. I am excited to be share CAT Village with you and it’s rich history and culture. This is a peaceful fishing village located close to the coast, said to have the most beautiful beach in Vietnam. I love the people and landscape here so I want to contribute to building a tourism community for foreigners.
Our group consists of 6 people operating in the area of hotel and landscape.

This is an ancient fishing village with more than 500 years of age. There is a long history of fishing. Accompanied by legendary stories about geography. With vegetation as well as unique marine life. People can participate in fishing village activities as well as learn about the history and customs as well as the food here. Which is not available anywhere else in the world.

Accommodation
We currently have 2 dorm rooms for 6 people. And 2 private rooms for 4 people. We always have rooms available for volunteers to stay.
. Our rooms have a shower, wifi, towels and Airconditioning. You can use our Pool too and relax in the common areas. You can borrow our bicycles.
Food and drinks:
We offer three meals a day. Free drinking water is always available!
We cook and do the dishes together. And of course we are always happy to try your local meals! There are no big supermarkets here, but the neighbours run a small shop where you can buy the basics you need and enjoy a coffee with the local fishermen.

Things to do:
- The beach is only a 2 minute walk away, it is very calm and beautiful!
- You can cycle or drive around the area, visit the fishing villages and their markets
- You can climb Cao Bien mountain, with beautiful views of the sea and the surroundings
- You can visit the untouched Cu Lao Island, just a 10 minute boat ride from here
Transport:
- Our village is located on the coast, just 15 minutes from the highway between Hoi An and Nha Trang. There are many busses available. The closest big city is Tuy Hoa, 25 minutes from here. We can help you with your transport!
