Australia - from Sep 2023 until Sep 2024 View allDescription
Hi everyone, I'm Megan,
I recently graduated with a degree in IT Management and am now moving to Australia for a year. I am ecstatic for the opportunity to explore this beautiful country!
I am a food fanatic, outdoor advocate, and coffee obsessor. I especially love learning new things and believe travel to be the ultimate form of education, both through self-exploration and cultural literacy. Since my first international experience in Costa Rica, I have had an immense craving to explore beyond the United States.
I am a young but mature traveler hoping to implement much more exploration in my future! I love to learn and will be adaptive to provide the assistance you need.
I look forward to meeting you!Interests

What else ...
I’ve slept in a Walmart parking lot, hammock, tent, 3-foot sectional, bench of a boat, stranger's couch, hostel, train, and the back row of my car. I’ve traversed some of the most scenic drives including the Road the Hana in Maui, Hawaii, and Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier National Park. I’ve lived amongst corn fields, lakes, swamps, hot springs, volcano, and desert terrain. I’ve worked on an island where no motor vehicles are allowed, as well as the world's first national park. I’ve traveled solo, road-tripped, volunteered, and studied in captivating places. I’ve walked on fiery coals, climbed, snorkeled, helicoptered, zip-lined, caved, and hiked.
Each experience has been coupled with the altruistic kindness and enriching conversation of strangers. I now have a heightened understanding of the cult-like following behind travel. I especially adore the Workaway ideology and the opportunity to contribute to the places i travel as more than just a tourist. Some more information
