Description
I'm a super crusey young adult. I love backcountry canoe camping, travelling, biking, dances, and potlucks.
You will be living in a First Nation community on a rural, but not remote reservation.
This project is to renovate a trailer and help my parents clean up their backyard and basement.
I'm very excited to show you around and share some sweet summer fun!
Looking for people who want to share meals, life around home, and go on adventures together.Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
This exchange is one of the few in Canada that are in a First Nation community and living with Indigenous folks. We are a very entertaining and quirky crew.
This is a very unique opportunity for lovers of indigenous culture. I am connected with my community but also work at an aboriginal organization in a hip city 40 minutes away. Between the two indigenous communities (rural and urban), there are many events, programs, and groups that you could be a part of!
You will have rides to Peterborough several times a week for groceries, art shows, dances, cafes, swimming, and biking. Monthly outdoor ecstatic dances and community socials. I have nature nerd and farmer friends. They will be around if you want to talk about trees, birds, or see a farm.
If you are looking for more opportunities to explore nature, I am fully equipped to take you backcountry canoe camping!Projects involving children
