    Description

We have a beautiful home that is also a rental in our peak season. It is a little Sanctuary in the woods, private and a great place to relax and reconnect. My wife and I both work from home and have a super friendly baby girl who loves meeting new people. We sometimes have deer and rabbits come around our home, enjoy fresh vegetables from our garden and all the local organic meats and fruits as well. We don't have a T.V. (but still watch some Netflix) and love to dance (I play guitar and sing as well).

Nova Scotia is a unique culture within Canada. Also the Annapolis valley is full of farms, vineyards and lots of great country style experiences to have. For our home and family, I speak french and spanish and always love practicing languages. We also practice meditation, Yoga and other spiritual practices for anyone who has an interest or passion to learn more about or deepen their spirituality. We have traveled in many parts of Europe as well as India and Nepal for extended periods of time so we love to share travel stories as well!

We have a garden that we would like to expand in the spring, grass to plant on the lawn, construction and carpentry work in different parts of the home and outlying buildings (i.e.: Small cabin to repair, etc) for a skilled carpenter if you have those skills. We also have a baby girl that LOVES new people so baby sitting is always very helpful as well as cooking and cleaning.

    Accommodation

You will most likely have the whole downstairs of the house to yourself, it is rental in our Summer season. So in the off season that is where you will stay. If we can have you during the peak season we have a loft area that is cosy as well but it is not insulated so it can get pretty warm by 10 or 11 in the morning. We will let you know where you'll be staying to make sure that it works for you and that you will be comfortable! For food we would expect you to mostly take care of yourself AND We love to share food and meals together wherever possible! We are also quite busy and won't be able to plan all the meals but we do love to eat together with you whenever we can.

For your time off we have hiking around, bikes you can borrow, and a really great library. We don't have local transport where we live but when we are going into town we can take you (10 min drive) or if you have your licence there would be times you could borrow our car as well.
