The sleeping accommodation is either in a spare bedroom in the main house or in an unheated boathouse with bunk beds (your choice). There are lots of covers and sleeping bags and the main cottage is of PassiveHause design and it is powered by solar panels. it is very comfortable with running water and full shower. There is also a wood fired sauna. In addition to the modern bathroom there is an outhouse.
Meals would be cooked by myself in the main cottage where I sleep. What else ...
There is the possibility to hike and canoe and swim; however the home is rather remote with very few services around - the nearest hamlet is 15 minutes by car. The closest large city is Kenora, Ontario which is nearly one hour away.
I could pick up volunteers in Kenora and drive them to the lake!
Kenora is on the TransCanada highway about 2 hours east of Winnipeg and about 5 hours west of Thunder Bay
This opportunity would appeal to a couple or one or two guys looking for peace and quiet in a very typical Canadian setting.A little more information
