  Description

  *** WELCOME ***
  Hello dear travelers!
  We are a small collective that is in many ways under construction. After several years of traveling and participating in various projects and collectives, the first ones of this group moved to this farm in summer of 2018.Throughout the years different people have moved in and out, we hosted events and punk parties, built stuff and torn stuff down, made DIY art and music and had many guests who brought their magic to DLP. Recently it has been quieter here, the place is transforming and there are „only“ two people living here permanently. As community people we love to welcome our beloved friends/guest/workawayers/travellers from far and wide!
  We mostly speak english here, but you might also hear some german, french and some random spanish words from time to time. If you’re looking for french language immersion, this might not be the perfect place for that.
  
  ***ANIMALS***
  Animal-wise there are up to three dogs (medium sized, friendly), some chicken, a herd of 9 goats and soon also 5 small sheep whose shelter we’re currently working on! There’s also a cat who lives here, but she enjoys her freedom and we don’t see her daily. We value these people with our whole heart, they move pretty freely around our farm which you might want to keep in mind when thinking of taking your dog/kid/meerschweinchen with you.
  
  ***WHAT TO DO***
  We have a vegetable and herb garden (which is currently mostly surviving on its own, unfortunately), are in the process of improving our wood workshop and a metal workshop.
  This winter we are building a sheep house, plus there are always some smaller DIYs that can entertain you during your stay. Cooking (we are not vegan but love vegan/veggie food!), making music, cutting wood, going for a walk, having a nice conversation, weeding, daydreaming… just a short overview of possible things. There’s a lot you can do and not a lot you have to do – just come as you are and bring your energy and interests!
  
  ***VALUES***
  Eventhough we're living in the remote countryside, it's important to us to deal with political issues. We are queer / LGBTQIA+ friendly and strive to treat all people with respect and care. We're not perfect at this and you don't have to be. We want to continue learning, from you and with you. Among other things, this fundamental attitude means that we cannot tolerate any form of enmity towards any group - anyone representing or endorsing such attitudes should not contact us.
  We are also rather pragmatic people who tend to question religions and spiritual orientations.

  *** BIENVENUE ***
  Bonjour chers voyageur.euse.s !
  Nous sommes un petit collectif qui, à bien des égards, est encore en construction. Après plusieurs années passées à voyager et à participer à divers projets et collectifs, les premièr.e.s entre nous avons emménagé dans notre ferme à l'été 2018. Au fil des ans, différentes personnes sont venues et reparties, nous avons organisé des événements et des fêtes punk, construit et démoli des choses, fait de l'art et de la musique DIY et accueilli de nombreux invités qui ont apporté leur magie à DLP. Récemment, l'endroit est devenu plus calme, il est en pleine transformation et « seulement » deux personnes y vivent en permanence. En tant que communauté, nous aimons accueillir nos chers ami.e.s/invité.e.s/workawayers et gens en route venu.e.s de loin !
  Nous parlons principalement anglais ici, mais vous entendrez peut-être aussi de l'allemand, du français et quelques mots d'espagnol de temps en temps. Si vous recherchez une immersion totale en français, ce n'est peut-être pas l'endroit idéal.
  
  ***ANIMAUX***
  En ce qui concerne les animaux, il y a jusqu'à trois chien.ne.s (de taille moyenne, amicaux), quelques poules, un troupeau de 9 chèvres et bientôt aussi 5 petits moutons pour lesquels nous construisons actuellement un abri ! Il y a aussi une chatte qui vit ici, mais elle aime sa liberté et nous ne la voyons pas tous les jours. Nous apprécions ces animaux de tout notre cœur, ils se promènent assez librement dans notre ferme, ce dont vous devriez tenir compte si vous envisagez d'amener votre chien/enfant/cochon d'Inde avec vous.
  
  ***QUE FAIRE***
  Nous avons un potager (qui, malheureusement, se débrouille actuellement tout seul), et nous sommes en train d'améliorer notre atelier de menuiserie et notre atelier de métallurgie.
  Cet hiver, nous construisons une cabane pour les moutons, et il y a toujours des petits travaux de bricolage qui peuvent vous occuper pendant votre séjour. Cuisiner (nous ne sommes pas végétarien.ne.s, mais nous adorons la cuisine végétarienne/végane !), faire de la musique, couper du bois, se promener, discuter, désherber, rêvasser... Voici un petit aperçu des activités possibles. Vous pouvez faire beaucoup de choses, mais vous n'êtes pas obligé. Venez comme vous êtes et apportez votre énergie et vos centres d'intérêt !
  
  ***VALEURS***
  Même si nous vivons dans une région rurale isolée, il est important pour nous de nous intéresser aux questions politiques. Nous sommes ouverts aux personnes queer / LGBTQIA+ et nous nous efforçons de traiter tout le monde avec respect et bienveillance. Nous ne sommes pas parfaits dans tout cela et vous n'avez pas à l'être non plus. Nous voulons continuer à apprendre, de vous et avec vous. Entre autres choses, cette attitude fondamentale signifie que nous ne pouvons ni voulons tolérer aucune forme de haine envers un groupe quelconque. Toute personne représentant ou approuvant de telles attitudes ne doit pas nous contacter.
  Nous sommes également des personnes plutôt pragmatiques qui avons tendance à remettre en question les religions et les orientations spirituelles.

  *** WILLKOMMEN ***
  Hallo liebe Reisende!
  Wir sind eine kleine Gemeinschaft, die sich in vielerlei Hinsicht noch im Aufbau befindet. Nach mehreren Jahren des Reisens und der Teilnahme an verschiedenen Projekten und Gemeinschaften sind die ersten von uns im Sommer 2018 auf unseren Bauernhof gezogen. Im Laufe der Jahre sind verschiedene Menschen dazugekommen und gegangen, wir haben Veranstaltungen und Punkpartys organisiert, Dinge gebaut und abgerissen, DIY-Kunst und Musik gemacht und viele Gäste gehabt, die ihre Magie nach DLP gebracht haben. In letzter Zeit ist es hier ruhiger geworden, der Ort verändert sich und es leben „nur“ noch zwei Menschen dauerhaft hier. Als Gemeinschaftsmenschen lieben wir es, unsere geliebten Freund*innen/Gäste/Workawayer/Reisenden aus nah und fern willkommen zu heißen!
  Wir sprechen hier hauptsächlich Englisch, aber manchmal hört man auch Deutsch, Französisch und vereinzelt spanische Wörter. Wenn du auf der Suche nach einem Ort bist, an dem du dich ganz in die französische Sprache vertiefen kannst, ist dies vielleicht nicht der richtige Ort dafür.
  
  ***TIERE***
  Was die Tiere angeht, gibt es bis zu drei Hunde (mittelgroß, freundlich), einige Hühner, eine Herde von 9 Ziegen und bald auch 5 kleine Schafe, für die wir gerade einen Unterstand bauen! Es gibt auch eine Katze, die hier lebt, aber sie genießt ihre Freiheit und wir sehen sie nicht täglich. Wir schätzen diese Tiere von ganzem Herzen, sie bewegen sich ziemlich frei auf unserem Hof, was ihr bedenken solltet, wenn ihr einen Hund/ein Kind/ein Meerschweinchen mitbringen möchtet.
  
  ***WAS ZU TUN IST***
  Wir haben einen Gemüse- und Kräutergarten (der derzeit leider größtenteils sich selbst überlassen ist) und sind dabei, unsere Holzwerkstatt und eine Metallwerkstatt zu verbessern.
  Diesen Winter bauen wir einen Schafstall, außerdem gibt es immer einige kleinere DIY-Projekte, die ihr während eures Aufenthalts angehen könnt. Kochen (wir sind keine Vegetarier*innen, lieben aber vegane/vegetarische Küche!), Musik machen, Holz hacken, spazieren gehen, nette Gespräche führen, Unkraut jäten, tagträumen ... das ist nur eine kleine Auswahl an Möglichkeiten. Es gibt viel zu tun, aber müssen tut ihr erst mal nicht viel – kommt einfach so, wie ihr seid, und bringt eure Energie und eure Interessen mit!
  
  ***WERTE***
  Auch wenn wir in einer abgelegenen ländlichen Gegend leben, ist es uns wichtig, uns mit politischen Themen auseinanderzusetzen. Wir sind queer/LGBTQIA+ /-freundlich und bemühen uns, allen Menschen mit Respekt und Fürsorge zu begegnen. Wir sind darin nicht perfekt, und ihr müsst das auch nicht sein. Wir möchten weiter lernen, mit euch und von euch. Diese grundlegende Haltung bedeutet unter anderem, dass wir keine Form der Feindseligkeit gegenüber einer Gruppe tolerieren können oder wollen – Personen, die solche Einstellungen vertreten oder befürworten, sollten sich nicht an uns wenden.
  Wir sind auch eher pragmatische Menschen, die dazu neigen, Religionen und spirituelle Orientierungen zu hinterfragen.

  HOW DO YOU LIVE HERE
  
  We can offer you a private space in one of our guest waggons or one of the two bedrooms in the house (all of them heated with a wood oven). For groups there is a dormitory in the maisonnette. We have parking possibilities for a few vans, trucks and campers and a meadow for camping, if you bring tents.
  We share a bathroom with a bathtub in the common house, outdoor dry toilets and a wc in the house.
  
  We often eat together in the evening but everyone is free to eat where and when they want of course. Most of us eat vegetarian cuisine, sometimes also meat and fish. We are happy to adapt to vegan.
  
  Unfortunately, our farm is not without obstacles (to people with reduced mobility).
  
  You can tell us your personal needs whatever they may be and we can try to accommodate them.

  Nous pouvons vous proposer un espace privé dans l'une de nos roulottes ou dans une des deux chambres de la maison (tout avec chauffage au poêle à bois). Pour les groupes, il y a un dortoir dans la maisonnette, des possibilités de stationnement pour quelques vans, camions et véhicules de camping et un pré pour le camping, si vous amenez des tentes.
  Nous partageons une baignoire dans une salle de bain dans la maison commune, des toilettes sèches extérieurs et des toilettes dans la maison.
  
  Nous mangeons souvent ensemble le soir mais chacun est libre de manger où et quand il veut bien sûr. Pour la plupart, nous mangeons de la cuisine végétarienne, parfois aussi de la viande et du poisson. Nous sommes content.e.s de nous adapter au végan.
  
  Malheureusement, notre ferme n'est pas sans obstacles (aux personnes à mobilité réduite).
  
  Vous pouvez nous dire vos besoins personnels quels qu'ils soient et nous pourrons essayer d'y répondre.

  WIE IHR HIER LEBT
  
  Wir können Euch einen privaten Raum in einem unserer Gästewagen oder in einem der beiden Schlafzimmer des Hauses anbieten (alle mit Holzofen beheizbar). Für Gruppen gibt es einen Schlafraum in der Maisonnette. Ausserdem gibt es Parkmöglichkeiten für einige Vans, Lastwagen oder Wohnmobile und eine Campingwiese, wenn ihr Zelte mitbringt.
  Wir teilen uns ein Badezimmer mit Badewanne im Gemeinschaftshaus, Trockentoiletten im Freien und ein WC im Haus.
  
  Abends essen wir oft gemeinsam, aber es steht natürlich allen frei, zu essen, wann und wo sie möchten. Wir essen meistens vegetarisch, manchmal auch Fleisch und Fisch. Wir stellen uns auch gerne auf vegane Ernährung ein.
  
  Leider ist unser Hof nicht barrierefrei (für Menschen mit eingeschränkter Mobilität).
  
  Persönliche Bedürfnisse jeder Art könnt Ihr uns gerne mitteilen. Wir werden versuchen, diesen gerecht zu werden. Ob, wie und wie gut das geht können wir zusammen per Mail klären.

  The nearest village is Faucogney et la Mer (6km, no bus) or the towns of Rupt-sur-Moselle, Lure and Luxeuil-les-Bains. The Mille Etangs region is a few km away for hiking and cycling.

  We are happy to host animals as long as they are friendly to everyone on the farm, especially children and animals. Our cat and chickens run free on the farm and should not have to fear. As one of our females is pretty bitchy, it can be difficult to host female dogs. * * * * * Nous sommes heureux d'accueillir des animaux à condition qu'ils soient gentils avec tous les habitant(e)s de la ferme, en particulier les enfants et les animaux. Notre chatte et nos poulets courent en liberté dans la ferme et ne doivent pas avoir peur. * * * * * Wir freuen uns, Tiere zu hosten, solange sie freundlich zu allen auf dem Hof sind, speziell zu Kindern und Tieren. Unsere Katzen und Hühner laufen frei auf dem Hof und sollen sich nicht zu fürchten brauchen.
