  • Description

Come stay with us in our organic garden on the very end of the world, live and learn in Patagonia
In the middle of Torres del Paine Biosphere Reserve is Cerro Paine Reserve. Within this private reserve there is a third of a hectare of organic garden which provide fresh fruits and vegetables.
Our season starts in September and we make a thorough planning so we can deliver fresh products to the different kitchens of our reserve every day, in this way our visitors can enjoy local, fresh products. Our challenge through Organic Biointensive agriculture is to supply with the largest amounts of fresh products we can, in a sustainable way and at the same time bringing back to life one of the oldest and most southern organic gardens of the south hemisphere.
We are 4 people working all season, Paloma (Chilean), Susan (Kiwi), Dan (Kiwi) and Carolina (Chile-Kiwi) and we would like to invite you to be part of our team. The minimum stay is for at least 1 month and maximum 8 months, you are welcome to stay as long as you like.
Everyone here does a little of everything: we are looking for enthusiastic people, nature lovers who are not afraid to get dirty and to work hard. At the beginning of the season we focus on working on the soil, preparing beds for crops and as the season progresses we start with planting, transplanting, weeding, watering, harvesting and general maintenance of the garden (construction or repairing). If you have a physical issue, such as back pain, or you don’t like to get dirty or work exposed to changing weather conditions, maybe this is not the place for you.
