Two smiling children pose closely together, each with a green lime in their mouth, playfully mimicking big smiles. The background shows a covered area with signage.
A cozy living room with wooden flooring, a sofa covered in cushions, a wall-mounted TV, decorative mirror, potted plants, yoga mats, and soft lighting.
A woman and two children smile warmly outdoors. One child wears blue swim goggles and a cap, while the other hugs them lovingly, surrounded by trees. Joyful moment.
Rolling countryside with golden fields, green grass in the foreground, scattered trees, distant hedgerows, and a cloudy blue sky stretching across the tranquil rural landscape.

    Description

We are a family of three, my daughters ages 7 & 9 attend the local school, I am an online tutor and coach and women's circle facilitator. I’m passionate about creating safe, inspiring spaces for growth and connection – whether that’s in my work or in my home.

My children are bundles of joy and energy! They love learning, exploring, the outdoors and being creative, so our home is often full of curiosity and play.

Within a 10 mins walk we have access to the beautiful countryside, with lots of forest trails, expansive rolling hills and lots of foraging opportunities. Within a short driving distance there are places to go for wild swims. London is a short train journey away and we are a 5 mins drive from Luton airport.

  • Help

    Help

We’d love some kind, reliable, and fun help with the children – whether that’s playing, helping with activities, schoolwork, or simply keeping them entertained with your own creativity.

Help with morning and bedtime routines, you're welcome to bring your own creativitity and skills and share them with the kids. Help preparing nutritious meals. Providing support whilst I am at work, or evening / weekend or overnight babysitting.

An extra pair of hands makes all the difference and allows me to balance work and family life and have time for my own self care.

This host offers a language exchange
I’m a native English speaker and happy to support Workawayers who’d like to improve their English through conversation, writing, or practice in daily life. I’d also love to learn a new language myself! My children have German grandparents, so it would be wonderful if they could practice some German with you. Personally, I’d be really interested in learning Portuguese or Spanish, but we’re open to sharing and exchanging any language. We see language learning as a fun way to connect, broaden horizons, and bring more culture into our family life.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

We live in a cosy 2-bedroom house in Luton. Workawayers will have their own bedroom with a single bed. During your stay the kids will be sleeping in with me in my double room so you have your own private space.

    You’ll also have access to:

    * A welcoming family home atmosphere
    * Shared kitchen and living room
    * WiFi and all usual home comforts
    * A garden space to relax

It’s a simple but warm setup, and we hope you’ll feel at home as part of our family.

Reliable WiFi for remote work and calls A table/desk space where you can work quietly during the day Flexibility to arrange childcare help around your schedule (as long as we agree clear times in advance) A family home atmosphere that’s lively at times (with children’s energy!) but also respectful of your need for focused work time This could suit someone who enjoys a balance of family life and their own projects, and who doesn’t mind some joyful noise in the background now and then. I can also suggest some nearby coffee shops that are great for remote work.
