    Description

We are a couple, currently alone, since our three kids left the village life for uni, big cities and the world.
We got a floruishing garden full of herbs, vegetables and some fruit trees with a decent swimming pond.

Even though we build this house two decades ago we are still having some projects waiting to be finished. Such as a red sand stone garden shed and a clay oven for making woodfired bread and pizza. Besides enjoying the golden years of life, we would like to grow more into the rediscovered permaculture world we once used to know as kids. We are not Dr. Greenthumb, but we already got a lot of berries, herbs and vegetables growing. Though there is enough space to evolve and improve.

On the other side there is the personal development, we would like to improve our english to catch up with our kids at some point, who travel all the time.

So this isn't actually written by us, but one of our sons. Hope you dont mind.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Living with us means getting to know the rural side of northern Bavaria, the land of "Franken".
You'll get in touch with mid-european flora, such as wild plants you can eat and learn about their benefits. You will learn how to cook traditional german recipes in a mostly plant based way as well as international cuisine. We will cook on fire and jump into the koi fish pond for refreshing ourselves. We will exchange art and hopefully find our yoga routine.

    Other activities:
Cycling, forest and medieval ruin hikes, Inlineskating, Basketball, Soccer, Music,
River floating with floatable boats and beer
