Description
Sunny, rural and coastal place. Close to nature and natural, clean beaches. I have a couple of chickens, fruit trees and a greenhouse. There are several hiking and bike paths here. By bus (every 1 hour) you're 3min from local shops, 15min from local town (and a big town beach) and 30-40min from city/airport with all kinds of life. Solar system, so electricity, hot water and air conditioning is basically free. Rural/coastal, but still comfortable and accessible.
About me: I've worked as a digital nomad or software engineer for many years - the nomad part is on a pause last few years tho. I have a 8 yo daughter who is here part time; friends welcome! :) I'm apolitical and will eat anything as long as it is healthy (I try to avoid plant oils tho). I enjoy lively conversation with 1-2 glasses on the porch or beach with music, but not into binge drinking or clubbing. I keep moving and stay active; physical exercise, swimming at the beach and e-biking is fun. -

I know the area quite well. Depending on your interests, I can show you good local restaurants, bars and beaches. Obviously a big part of the local culture here is chilling out at the beaches; there is always people there all year - many work as digital nomads.

Help
Perhaps help with caring for chickens, which involves feeding and general care. Assistance with small gardening tasks, such as watering plants and basic gardening in the greenhouse. Nothing requiring professional skills or heavy physical labor.
I believe cultural exchange is central to the Workaway experience. If you can help around 1-2 hours per day, that leaves plenty of time for relaxing, exploring the local beaches, bike paths and experiencing the local culture together. -

Accommodation
There are two bedrooms and a living room with a sleeper sofa available. This floor of the house is air conditioned, modern and comfortable. There is a fireplace during winter. The kitchen is modern and has a big fridge-freezer. The bathroom is small but practical. Connected to the floor there is a 9x2m veranda where people can sit outside and enjoy the view. There is high-speed Internet, electricity and you can drink the water straight from the tap - as it is filtered and safe via a whole-house setup in the basement. The basement has a new washing machine and tumble dryer.
The upstairs floor is usable - but still needs some finishing touches. It too has its own, big veranda.
There also is an apartment downstairs with a separate entrance, but this is only used for storage space for now. Maybe in the future it could be nice for longer term accommodation. -
What else ...
There's a bus stop 100m from the house. There is free parking. You can walk to the beach (about 20min), take the bus (every 1 to 1.5 hours), car (3 min) or taxi (3.5 EUR to nearest beach).
I can't think of any house rules beyond what's obvious. If you smoke, do so on the veranda. -

Space for parking camper vans
It would be possible to park your camper/motorhome here. I'd be happy to run an extension cord up to your camper/motorhome - yay; free energy from solar! :) Note that the parking is close to a forest with mosquitoes; you will need mosquito nets to stay comfortable! I have a portable electrical induction cooker you can borrow if you want to save gas.

Can possibly accept pets
Pets are fine? I guess if you have a dog, it will be happy outside on the 1 acre property here - but it needs to stay on a line (I run a lines between the trees here) so the chickens stay safe. There is shelter from rain - and my dog can keep it company.
