    Description

Our home is a large house with a 4 ha. garden at the edge of a small village in a rural agricultural area. We are one hour away from Warsaw, the capital city, easily accessible by train. We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful place, and our friends, family and guests love it too. Yo, as you can imagine, is Japanese, an ex ballerina and now pilates instructor, cooks healthy and wonderful food, but also paints. Piotr was born and bred in UK and is a native English speaker. His passion is trees (dendrology) and we have developed an interesting collection of trees and shrubs (800+). Our common passions are cooking together, working in the garden and classical music.

We can give advice about gardening but would also be open to ideas and suggestions. Pilates with Yo. We are well traveled and can share our experiences. We can advise on cooking as we are in the process of preparing a cookbook, but would love to meet tastes from other countries.

  • Help

    Help

We like to meet new people, particularly from other cultures, and would welcome help in one area of our garden to improve it further. The garden may be large, but the area we have in mind is small and we want to make is more interesting with your help. It would also be an opportunity for someone to discover the beauty and importance of dendrology. A young couple would be also be welcome.

Not camping! A comfortable room in the house. We will feed you unless you want to be involved in the kitchen too, Yo is particularly good on vegetables and salads.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

Your time off could be spent locally, but more likely in Warsaw, visiting museums and other culture as in any city. One large bicycle is available! We haven't mentioned the other family member, Mango the dog who 'operates' in the house and garden. Between us we have five offspring (they are not children anymore!) but have flown the nest! The ideal time for us to welcome you would probably be for no more than a week when the garden needs help, so most likely April to October. We would also welcome long distance adventurous travellers, for example someone biking across the continent wanting a comfortable stay for the night. We were recently inspired by a crazy Englishman who spent 3.5 years travelling around the world on a unicycle!
