We are a couple living in Malta with two medium-size Bali dogs. Jake is a bartender and Nikos is a photographer, and we live in a cute traditional Maltese house with a big garden close to Valletta, the capital city, and a UNESCO heritage site. We like to travel, so we like to invite Workawayers to stay in our home and look after our friendly dogs while we are away. Accommodation can be quite expensive in this location so it is a good way to visit Malta for low cost if you are a dog lover.
As mentioned above, we live in a traditional Maltese house with great access to Valletta and a lot of other historic and cultural sites, so it is a great base to use to explore the island
All you need to do is feed the dogs twice per day. The garden is big and they play with each other a lot, so no need to take them for walks while we are away.
You will have the house to yourself, king size bed, living room, kitchen, bathroom, large garden, wifi, and washing machine. We provide basic food (noodles, pasta, bread, coffee, tea), but there are several markets nearby that you can shop at and we have a fully stocked kitchen you can use to cook
We live in Pieta, which is about halfway between Sliema and Valletta. The bus stops are virtually on your doorstep, and the house is spacious and comfortable.
