Description
We are an inclusive and queer family of four (me/eRinn 37, Rachel 41, Isaac, 13 and Clara, 11). Our home overlooks the sea in a quiet family focused cul de sac neighbourhood. We are finding we'd like more capacity to spend time having fun and relaxing, camping (we haven't gone yet) road trips, making cool crafts and meals, exploring nature and socialising, so we are looking to share the effort and rewards.
We have a room available for a solo Workawayer interested in joining our family and helping with tasks, which could be petsitting while we go away for a night, or clearing the garage. But mainly it's caravan restoration currently!

We would be sharing family meals and board games some or most evenings. We are looking for someone excited to join our family dynamic around food and authentic relating. I'm also usually home due to chronic health stuff, and would love company doing tasks like DIY/ crafts and house organisation.

Help
Hours are pretty flexible, if everyone is healthy, happy and fed then success has been reached. We do like to hang out as the kids are pretty emotionally needy and stuff.

Accommodation
Sun soaked room currently set up as a massage room. The house is moderate sized with great indoor outdoor flow.
Wifi, heatpump is usually on in the sun soaked lounge complete with cats napping. The house is generally pretty quiet and calm most days, we don't always watch TV and are actively limiting screen use (dopamine regulation, neurodiverse household) but we have access to a lot of movies and sometimes streaming services. You can usually hear birds in the nearby trees.
What else ...
Orewa is a retirement village which now has boomers and kids overflowing into new subdivisions.
With the beach, skate park, estuary and shops with two supermarkets nearby, one can access pretty much everything one could need, but we also have a bus stop close by.
