Based above the Artic circle, in the world-famous archipelego, the Lofoten Islands, we are a wild harvesting seaweed company who sustainably harvest and make beautiful seaweed products for food. If you want to experience the mid-night sun, steep mountains coming straight down in the sea, ski touring, fishing and the outdoors, this is the place to come! We are two girls that own the company, and as it's just a start-up so we need as much help as we can get!

You would learn everything about seaweed if you are interested in new foods, in sustainable foraging, and in your health. There is also so much outdoor activities here in Lofoten, the mountains and sea have so much to offer. We both speak Norwegian and English. You would learn the culture of living in northern norway above the arctic circle, where there is daylight all night in the summer. You would work side by side with the fisherman, with divers and with other like minded people.
This host offers accommodation and payment.
We have a range of tasks that we need help with such as milling seaweed, making and packing products, and harvesting. There will also be other tasks such as painting, cleaning and some babysitting work available too. We have a lot of fun while we are at work and hope our workaways will be able to experience some of the beauty of Lofoten while they are here.
Right now we are particularly interested in people with photography, graphic design and cooking skills to help update our content on social media and our website.
We have a three bedroom apartment right on the waterfront, near the seaweed facility. It is modern and you will likely have your own room.
We will make sure you have plenty of time off to see the beautiful sights within the Lofoten Islands. There are plenty of buses to take you to nearby villages and towns. Check us out on Facebook and instagram :-)
