    Description

Based above the Artic circle, in the world-famous archipelego, the Lofoten Islands, we are a wild harvesting seaweed company who sustainably harvest and make beautiful seaweed products for food. If you want to experience the mid-night sun, the northern lights, steep mountains coming straight down in the sea, ski touring, hiking, fishing and the outdoors, this is the place to come! We are two girls that own the company, and as it's just a start-up so we need as much help as we can get!

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

You would learn about sustainable and smallscale seaweed production and product development .
You will also learn the chaos and the adventures of working with a start up. There is also so much outdoor activities here in Lofoten, the mountains and sea have so much to offer. We both speak Norwegian and English. You would learn the culture of living in northern norway above the arctic circle, where there is daylight all night in the summer. in the harvesting season you would work side by side with the fishermen and if you are lucky the orcas wil pay us a visit.

  • Help

    Help

We have a range of tasks that we need help with (depending on the time of year) such as milling seaweed, making and packing products, and harvesting. There will also be other tasks such as renovating, cleaning, and computer work and cooking! We have a lot of fun while we are at work and hope our workaways will be able to experience some of the beauty of Lofoten while they are here. Every workaway has a different skill set and we like to make the most of your skills while you are here!
Right now we are particularly looking for harvesters for our harvest season in May 2020, so if you have experience in driving a boat, or love being in the water (despite the cold) please get in touch!
We also would love to find someone that has skills in video editing, social media or can navigate their way around Wordpress.
