Description
We are a Dutch-German family embarking on an exciting new chapter in beautiful Croatia. Together with our two children, we are settling down and building our new home on a piece of land. It’s a blank canvas with lots of opportunities, and there’s plenty of work to do both around the house and on the land.
We are looking for help either with the kids, or on the land: building with wood, painting, or helping out with creating the vegetable garden.
You can sleep either in a glamping tent or caravan depending on availability. There is water / electricity / compost toilet and beautiful nature!
Also we can provide healthy vegetarian food.
We are passionate about living organically and want to inspire others to embrace a more sustainable lifestyle by eating locally and naturally. We love sharing knowledge and are excited to create a space where people can learn, connect, and grow. In the future, we hope to offer creative workshops to bring even more life and creativity to our little corner of the world.
We are located at the beautiful rural countryside of Croatia. Our area is known for 4 beautiful (turquoise) rivers with clean water. You can raft, kano, SUP or swim.
Infrastructure like train/ highway/ FlixBus station is not too far away. (within 10 km) - we can pick you up from these stations. Nearest supermarket is a 5 min drive away. Recommend is to have a car, because we are located on the countryside.

We offer a unique cultural exchange experience where you can become part of our family and daily life. Sharing meals, stories, and experiences is an important part of our home. You’ll get to know both Dutch and German traditions, as well as explore the beautiful Croatian culture and nature with us.
We love exchanging ideas and learning from each other, whether it’s about sustainable living, organic farming, or creative projects. Also I am by profession a photographer and my husband is a carpenter, so if you wish to learn within this field, it’s possible!.
By hosting people from different cultures, we hope to broaden our perspectives and create meaningful connections. Your ideas and experiences are always welcome here, and we look forward to meeting you!

For now, we’re looking for enthusiastic people who’d like to join us on this journey and help with various projects. In return, we can offer a comfortable stay in a caravan or tent, a warm atmosphere, and hopefully, vegetarian food and some wonderful memories. If you’re curious about this adventure, we’d love to hear from you!
Activities that we are looking for would be; painting, carpentry, playing with kids, building a greenhouse from recycled doors and windows, maintaining the land.
