  Description

  We are a Dutch-German family starting a new chapter in the Croatian countryside. Together with our two children, we are settling on a beautiful piece of land where we will be renovating an old house and slowly shaping our place into a home. The coming year will be very hands-on: there is a lot to dismantle, rebuild, repair and improve, both in and around the house.
  
  We are mainly looking for people who enjoy practical work: helping with renovation, demolition and rebuilding, working with wood, painting, and general hands-on tasks. In addition, there may also be help needed with our children or with creating and maintaining a vegetable garden. There is always something to do, and we try to adapt the tasks to your skills, experience and energy.
  
  Accommodation is available in a bell tent or a caravan, depending on availability. There is water, electricity, a compost toilet, and plenty of beautiful nature around you.
  
  We provide meals and offer healthy, vegetarian food, which we enjoy preparing and sharing together.
  
  We are passionate about living organically and want to inspire others to embrace a more sustainable lifestyle by eating locally and naturally. We love sharing knowledge and creating a place where people can learn, connect and grow. In the future, we hope to offer creative workshops to bring even more life and creativity to our little corner of the world.
  
  We are located in the beautiful rural countryside of Croatia. Our area is known for four stunning turquoise rivers with clean water, perfect for rafting, canoeing, SUP or swimming.
  
  Infrastructure such as train stations, highways and FlixBus stops is within 10 km, and we can pick you up from these stations. The nearest supermarket is a 5-minute drive away. Having a car is recommended, as we are located in the countryside.

  We offer a unique cultural exchange experience where you can become part of our family and daily life. Sharing meals, stories, and experiences is an important part of our home. You’ll get to know both Dutch and German traditions, as well as explore the beautiful Croatian culture and nature with us.
  
  We love exchanging ideas and learning from each other, whether it’s about sustainable living, organic farming, or creative projects. Also I am by profession a photographer and my husband is a carpenter, so if you wish to learn within this field, it’s possible!.
