Description
Hello! We're a little family: mama, papa and Luna, 5 years old. We live in a old-stone-country house in the middle of the forest, in the mountain, in the center of Italy (Umbria).
We work at home and travel a lot, Luna doesn't go to school. We're homeschooling her and planning to keep on it. We belive in parental education and want to share with our daughter as much time as possible and as much experiences we can. We teach her simply walking, drawing, playing music, theatre, working with paper, clay, wood. Telling and inventing stories. Collecting natural element and transform them in toys, instruments, art.
We live sorrounding by Nature: we can ear wolves in the night, we can see dears from the windows and we can walk for one hour without meet another person. But the thrilling city of Perugia, were thousands of foreign students live, is only 30 minute away by car. You can follow your university lesson in the morning, have a city brunch and aperitivo in a historical reinassance italian town for lunch and look for eagles in the afternoon in the middle of nowhere.
And we love to cook! Expecially italian tastes and flavours.
An old castle is just out of our front door, a wild ancient wood on the back one. All the italian style, with historical city and village, fantastic food and a mystic, wild place to live.
We're looking for someone or better a family with kids who love nature and wild, adventure life.
We'd like to share our beautiful world of wood and forest, have a walk together, showing plant, animal and environmental secrets, but also have a dinner in a romantic traditional restaurant in Perugia.
Come to learn how to live in the mountain and how to show really italian style, helping us to look after our daughter, teaching her english.
We offer a private dobble room with bathroom in a separeted apartman in our house.
Please, no smokers.Types of help and learning opportunities
Babysitting and creative play
Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We work as journalist and photographer and contribute with the main italian travel magazines, so we can tell very well about Italy! and we love Italy! we love to tell about its story, its tradition, its food. We have choice a different way of life: different kind of job, a lonely home in middle of Nature, lot of travels. We love to walk with people telling stories and also love to go kayaking and skiing and sailing and riding and...everyway of moving.
