Description
We are happy new owners for 1 year of an eco-place in the making, acquired after a big awareness during the 1st confinement, we gave up everything (our life in the Paris region and our respective jobs) to try to live a better life and more simple by learning to reduce our comfort of life to increase its quality while trying the challenge of resilience to tend towards autonomy. The land is 11 hectares including 9 hectares of meadow and 2 hectares of wood which mainly includes chestnut trees, we live in a yurt but there is on the land a house of 120m² with the floor and a stone barn of 200m², we have also a 9m² chicken coop with about ten hens, 2 sheep and a small Australian Shepherd puppy. We have created a vegetable garden of about 300m² where we are currently putting a lot of energy because we are sorely lacking in skills in this area, we have also planted a lot of fruit trees. Having always been a very handyman, I have very good bases in a lot of areas, plumbing, electricity, sanitation, roofing, woodworking and construction in general, but also mechanics, IT, 'electronics... etc... My companion is a great help to me at all levels. We want to welcome people (also possibly in the long term) to get help without an imposed rhythm and to share knowledge.

Nous sommes heureux nouveaux propriétaires depuis 1an d'un écolieu en devenir, acquis après une grosse prise de conscience pendant le 1er confinement, nous avons tout abandonné (notre vie en région parisienne et nos travail respectifs) pour tenter de vivre une vie meilleure et plus simple en apprenant a réduire notre confort de vie pour en augmenter sa qualité tout en s’essayant au challenge de la résilience pour tendre vers l'autonomie.

Le terrain fait 11 hectares dont 9 hectares de prairie et 2 hectares de bois qui comporte essentiellement du châtaigner, nous vivons en yourte mais il y a sur le terrain une maison de 120m² avec l'étage et une grange en pierre de 200m², nous avons aussi un poulailler de 9m² avec une dizaine de poules, 2 moutons et un petit chiot berger australien.
Nous avons créé un potager d'environ 300m² ou nous mettons actuellement beaucoup d'énergie parce que nous manquons cruellement de compétences dans ce domaine, nous avons aussi planté beaucoup d'arbres fruitiers.

Ayant toujours été très bricoleur je possède de très bonnes base dans pas mal de domaines, la plomberie, l’électricité, l'assainissement, la couverture ,le travail du bois et la construction en général mais aussi la mécanique, l'informatique, l’électronique... etc...
Ma compagne m'est d'une très grande aide a tout les niveaux.

Nous souhaitons accueillir du monde (aussi possiblement sur le long terme) pour se faire aider sans rythme imposé et partager les connaissances.

What new visitors will get from this experience I don't know but I can talk about ours, over a year we have learned a lot and continue to learn on a human level and at the level of manual skills that I enjoy transmitting.

Ce que les nouveaux visiteurs tireront de cette expérience je ne sais pas mais je peux parler de la notre, sur une année nous avons énormément appris et continuons d'apprendre sur le plan humain et au niveau des compétences manuel que j'ai plaisir a transmettre.

Help
We are looking for help in just about everything but we are currently giving priority to the maintenance of the land and the vegetable garden (a person with a green thumb is welcome), the creation of several boreholes and the renovation of certain parts of the building

Nous cherchons de l'aide dans un peu tout les domaines mais nous mettons en ce moment la priorité sur l'entretien du terrain et du potager (une personne avec la main verte est le bienvenue), la création de plusieurs forages et la rénovation de certaines parties du bâti

There are a lot of things to visit in the area and it's pretty lively and also well supplied at the associative level, there is a lake for swimming in the village next door and dancing balls every weekend.

Il y a pas mal de choses a visiter dans le coin et c'est plutôt bien animé et aussi bien fourni au niveau associatif, il y a un lac pour la baignade dans le village d'à coté et des bals dansant tout les WE.
