    Description

    General information:

We are local NGO that operates in the Amalfi Coast (UNESCO Site) - Italy, engaged in projects about environmental protection, sustainable development, youth, local traditions, international volunteering, natural building and so on.

In the organization we are usually 2 or 3 local people working, plus some international students who are doing an internship. We organise activities such as:

    - international volunteering workcamps
    - workshops
    - local events
    - youth exchanges
    - European projects for the mobility of youth workers
    - local environmental projects

Our office is in the village of Tramonti, surrounded by nature, located in an area of around 3000 m² with a nice garden, some cultivated terraces, camping area and our old barn which is becoming an ecobuilding, insulated with natural techniques (straw, clay, lime, canes) and with an outdoor eco-kitchen.

We started working on the eco-building since September 2015 and we hosted more than 80 people so far that have contributed to construction with their bare hands and feet.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Travellers will have the chance to learn about our projects on local development, so they will learn about our local products and our traditions from the village of Tramonti and the Amalfi Coast as a whole.

We also have an international environment due to the presence of students and volunteers coming from all over the world for different projects, making cultural exchange a daily opportunity.

Tramonti is a rural village where you can get to know the local people quite easily and learn about their culture. In our association we are promoting sustainable ways of life and projects, so we also offer the possibility to learn new sustainable approaches to many fields (agriculture, natural building, food, etc..).

The Amalfi Coast area is quite famous and considered to be one of the most beautiful places in the world. Nearby on the coast you can visit the towns of Amalfi, Ravello and Positano but it is also possible to reach easily the famous Isle of Capri. One hour from here there are also the archaeological sites of Pompei and Ercolano, and also the city of Naples is within reach.

There is a lot of sightseeing to be done and also in our village there are very nice hiking routes on the mountains. If you want to go for a swim, the seaside is 7 km away (20 minutes by bus).
