    Help us to establish an a Permaculture with gardening, and help us with restoration of our Cob House and Farm, from the late 1896th.

    My name is Mario Slavchev and I have tried in 2018 to own a farm,but set the project on side, because of the lack of a good hand,and now we start the project „again“ and we are back more powerful than ever.

    Now there is a friend of mine who is willing to start it again.

    Adrian Vasilev from a city of Pernik is now living in the heart of South-Western planing region of Bulgaria,and its with so virgin nature,that you can't even believe it.

    Adrian start his jurney and now he is setting up his garden for the comming season.
    Who is Adrian?Adrian is born in 1989 in the city of Pernik!During his life,he is been through alot.He graduate High School in Business Administration in the the city that he is born.He also study in University Public administration.
    In his life he is been working as a manager,constructor and at the end he goes to 5 years of professional cooking(so don't worry,you will try very delicious dishes during your stay),he can also draw paintings,love to meditate and he is currently practicing Yoga!

    He loves nature,and now his dream became reality.

    i'm currently based in UK and im planning to go back in Bulgaria as soon as i can.
    I'll help him with everything i know during his journey and he will help me to...

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

    We can have very mutual cultural Exchange to each other. You will learn how to be one with nature,how to be successful in gardening,cob restoration,herb and mushroom harvesting

    You will get to know the regional culture, learn about planting practices, harvesting herbs, mushrooms, and Bulgarian languages. They will also learn how to work with cob and how to apply it. We'll be also very glad to learn new things as well and meet new friends.

    When you decide to come, and stay in Our Old Rural Village Home in Tsegrilovtsi ,you will help Adrian and me with different variety of tasks.Those tasks will include but not limited to:

    The season is crucial here, but we are happy to welcome you all year round so in the different season we need different help,but all year round we need people helping us restore our house and farm by painting with lime,doing some cob work,cleaning,cooking,alsmost doing everyting you do at your home :).

    In the season time, we might need help in digging a preparation of the land for sowing,watering,weeding,harvesting,cultivating and helping us to be prepared for the next winter,because in Bulgaria we have four seasons.

    Let us tell you a little bit more about the land and the house,maybe now you're wondering about our property :
    It has 1800 sqm garden with a House from 1896 and two other farm Buildings from 1902
    There are cherry trees and walnut trees.
    The garden is planted all the time with seasonal vegetables and like we say above,we will need help with different tasks.

    You will help us collect Cob and Stones from the nearest demolished house,
    We are building a fence so if you dont mind to work hard,this is right for you!

    Ofcourse like in all villages we have our crew of animals,dogs,cats hens,and more...and in near future we will have goats,cows and more animals for the farm...
    For now we are just starting the project and we hope in the near future,we can grow up with your help :)

    One room for a couple or a single.
    There is one bed as well with a couch that becomes a double bed in the room.
    In the near Future we can fix and another room for another couple or single!
    There is water in the house,but There is no bathroom, so We taking showers with sun-heated water, or self heated...

    in late of July,or utnil Septemeber, we will fix a bathroom inside the house.

    There is running water in the yard and in the house.
    There is a kitchen with a rural fireplace.
    Electricity is all connected.
    I eat everything, but not a huge fen of junk food. I eat meat as well but is not my priority.
    The main food will be goat milk, eggs, soups, sweet jellies, and traditional Bulgarian dishes!

    Tsegrilovtsi is a village in West Bulgaria. It is situated in Tran municipality, Pernik region.

    It is 63 km northwest of the town of Pernik and 17 km southwest of the town of Tran. The capital Sofia is 92 km east. In proximity is the border checkpoint Strezhimirovtsi and the state border with Serbia.

    It is located in mountain region and its altitude is about 928 m. The climate is with clearly expressed four seasons- warm but not hot summer while the winter is severe. The spring is cool with lots of precipitation and comes in the end of March the beginning of April and the fall is warmer.

    The permanent population is about 14 people.

    The village is with electricity system constructed and to it leads asphalt road.

    The nearest GPs, dentists, hospital, kindergarten and school are working in the town of Tran.

    Tourism and landmarks
    In proximity flows Erma river that is stocked with trout. The people that enjoy fishing can take advantage and to go to Yarlovtsi dam (6 km).

    The village is with very well preserved beautiful nature, fresh air and this makes it peaceful place for living.

    The colloquial language of the local people is very archaic and it is close to the old Bulgarian for in it is preserved case system that is unique for Bulgaria.

    It is interesting that here are living many species of night moths such as Lasiocampa grandis, Cyclophora annularia, Lygephila viciae, Mythimna impura, Divaena haywardi, Diaphora luctuosa etc.

    Among the landmarks in the area are the picturesque Erma river Gorge, Ruy peak, the rock church St Petka, the Tran monastery and the Vrabcha waterfall.

    The Trun Municipality is situated in the southwestern part of Bulgaria along the state border with the Republic of Serbia and Montenegro, where there is a border control point near Strazemirovtsi village.

    The relief is mountainous and semi-mountainous with clearly manifested continental climate. Many mountain rivers and streams flow through the area. There are two regions with distinctive differences, namely: Znepole - a small hollow of 770 m altitude above sea level; and the mountains of Kraishte geographic region - Lubash, Kopren, Ogorelitsa, Vargaivitsa, Svredlovitsa and Karvav Kamik; these mountains are of average altitude 1,500 m above sea level.

    The Erma River is the biggest river in Tran Municipality. Numerous villages are situated in its valley. Trun town is located on a small terrace on the left bank of the Erma and is surrounded by mountains. The only road passing through Tran town connects it to Pernik and Sofia and to Strezemirovtsi border control point.

    Trun is an environmentally clean region. There are vast forest massifs, as well as mineral springs with very good drinking quality and healing properties of the water. There are excellent mountain tourism conditions in the Tran region. The most famous route is to the peak of Ruyi, the highest in the region, which discloses a wonderful view to the whole Znepole. There are very good conditions for fishing in the micro-dam nearby Yarlovtzi village. Indeed the possibilities in Tran region for the recently very popular eco, village or cultural tourism are endless.
