Help in the house
You will get to know the regional culture, learn about planting practices, harvesting herbs, mushrooms, and Bulgarian languages. They will also learn how to work with cob and how to apply it. I'll be also very glad to learn new things as well and meet new friends.
Help with the restoration and the building of our farm! Gardening, decoration, constructions and working with cob! There are 11 goats, 7 dogs (5 babies, they will be trained to find a Truffles, so you will explore the forest nearby Tran, Bulgaria, a small town in Pernik Province, western Bulgaria and be a part of the hunt ), two cats and hens as well.
I got my land, which is 1800sqm. There is a house, livestock barn, and another building.
The village is not water connected, so there are 3 main water streams, so I got connected to one of them and I bring the water into my yard. The village has 10 people who live in it, maybe 5 in the winter time.
I need to change the hose with pipes before winter time.
I mentioned before that I have 11 goats. I milk them daily, but is not enough to earn money from it!
We go on mountain trips daily together with the 7 dogs that I have rescued them from the streets here and there!
Two of them I adopt from an organization in Blagoevgrad.
Tangra and Tara were two months when I saw them for adoption online. Now they are almost 7months. They are Bulgarian Shepard dogs, Huge ones!
Lammas is the third, and I found him under a garbage can near the road. Now Lammas is almost two months and He is a very loving one.
Then the next 4 just found me! They are not older than a month!
So inside the house, I have the two cats...Mother(Maca) and daughter (Puhche)!Maca will be with babies again in August! She is almost six years old from when we find her on the street. She is my first love! And she is really a lovely cat.
Puhche is Norwegian forest cat(It comes from Norway), and I do not see her so often, from when we moved here. She just comes by, to eat something, or to get a good safety sleep in a dry bed!
I have also 11 hens!
We have our 130 years old cob house and two cob farm buildings.
My true vision is to build a sustainable Permaculture in the future!
The information above is
One room for a couple or a single. There is one bed as well with a couch that becomes a double bed in the room. There is still no water in the house. I will be honest to all, so there is no bathroom as well so I'm taking showers with sun-heated water, or I heated by my self if there is no sun... in late of July we will fix a bathroom and run water inside the house. There is running water in the yard now. There is a kitchen with a rural fireplace. Electricity is all connected. I eat everything, but not a fen to junk food. I eat meat as well but is not my priority. The main food is goat milk, eggs, soups, sweet jellies, and traditional Bulgarian food. The toilet is outside and is bio.
