Description
We are a couple who have decided to create forest gardens. We have created an NGO to make this project happen and we work to grow and plant trees everywhere we can !
We now have 1.3 hectares of land on which we have already planted 150 trees at the end of 2020. We also have a large greenhouse where we are creating our nursery. More than 20 volunteers help us, mainly during participatory days. Our house is located in Bayeux, 13km from the land and 2 km from the greenhouse. We have room to accommodate 2 people comfortably. It is also possible to camp on the ground.
Nous sommes un couple qui avons décidé de créer des jardins-forêts. Nous avons aujourd'hui un terrain 1.3 hectares sur lequel nous avons déjà planté 150 arbres en fin d'année 2020. Nous avons aussi une grande serre où nous créons notre pépinière. Plus de 20 bénévoles nous apportent de l'aide, essentiellement au cours de journées participatives. Notre maison est située à Bayeux, à 13km du terrain et à 2 km de la serre. Nous avons de la place pour accueillir 2 personnes confortablement. Il est également possible de camper sur le terrain.

Help
Creating our nursery takes a lot of time, especially for watering the plants, and we find it difficult to devote ourselves to all that needs to be done on top of that. As a workawayers, depending on your skills, you can help us water, transplant, weed, plant, manage a group of volunteers, harvest, canning, communicate, help us fundraise, etc. There is no shortage of activities!
Créer notre pépinière demande beaucoup de temps, surtout pour arroser les plants et nous avons du mal à nous consacrer à tout ce qu il faudrait faire en plus. En tant que workawayer, selon vos compétences, vous pourrez nous aider à arroser, repiquer, désherber, planter, gérer un groupe de bénévoles, récolter, faire des conserves, communiquer, nous aider à rechercher des fonds etc. Les activités ne manquent pas !

Accommodation
We ask you 4 hours of work a day, 5 days a week, 3 meals a day, we have 2 comfortable rooms at home for you. You can combine the beds in one room if there are two of you.
We do not eat meat at home, we can adapt to specific diets, the idea being to cook together, or take turns.
On vous demande 4 heures de travail par jour, 5 jours sur 7, 3 repas par jour, nous avons 2 chambres confortables à la maison pour vous. On peut regrouper les lits dans une seule chambre si vous êtes deux.
Nous ne consommons pas de viande à la maison, nous pouvons nous adapter aux régimes alimentaires spécifiques, l'idée étant de cuisiner ensemble, ou chacun notre tour.
What else ...
Our land is a little corner of paradise away from the noise of the cities but we live at the gates of Bayeux, a tourist town, the sea is only ten kilometers away. The goal of this association is to promote forest gardens, to pass on what we are learning, we hope to have people who are passionate about the subject with us. This is already the case for our volunteers who return almost daily.
Notre terrain est un petit coin de paradis à l'écart du bruit des villes mais nous vivons aux portes de Bayeux, ville touristique, la mer n'est qu'à une dizaine de kilomètres.
Le but de ce association est de promouvoir les jardins-forêts, de transmettre ce que nous apprenons, nous espérons avoir des gens passionnés par le sujet avec nous. C est déjà le cas pour nos bénévoles qui reviennent quasi quotidiennement.
