Description
I am a mom of two independant children seeking childcare in exchange for meals and accommodation in our home in Brittania Beach, BC, located just 10 minutes away from downtown Squamish! We are in the mountains, with hundreds of trails in the forests right outside our door, and the ocean located at the bottom of our hill. We have the best of all views! We also have a dog, a cat, and a bearded dragon as part of our family.

Travellers would benefit from this exchange as they would be able to explore and enjoy the beauty of the Britannia Beach/Squamish area! Our area is known for being in nature and all of the outdoor activities available. Anything from hiking to rock climbing and water sports, ski hills in the winter are not too far away and tons of mountain biking and dirt biking trails right at our doors! The city of Squamish is such an enjoyable destination also. From eateries to breweries to donuts and desserts, this beautiful little town has it all!

Help
I am mainly asking for help with childcare for a couple of hours in the morning and a couple of hours in the afternoon after school. Taking the children to activities occasionally, help around the house and the occasional cooking during these hours would also be great. Childcare during the summer holidays would include pick up and drop off to activities and similar to what has been stated above. Possible gardening during the summer if the traveler enjoys gardening!
Accommodation
Workawayers will be staying in their own private camper trailer on the property. They will be welcome to come into the home at any time to spend time, watch tv/internet, cook and eat, etc. We have a backyard with fire pit and patio to lounge on and enjoy the views!
What else ...
This town is big on tourism, so there will definitely a lot to see and do all year round! There is the Sea to Sky Gondala just a few minutes down the highway and Whistlet Village just 45min away! There isn't any local transit from Britannia Beach, but there is in neighborhoods. I would be able to help coordinate and drive travelers to and from some destinations. A vehicle to use may occasionally be available also.
