    Description

    Hey everyone,

I´m Pon, currently living on the farm with my cat Aw & dog Hamnoi, some free-range chickens, turkey, geese and ducks.

    :)

Our 30 acre eco project, the started in January 2017 with self-reliance, regenerative farming, and permaculture as its core principles. Here we host nature-based workshops, skill-sharing, and other learning events with the aim to integrate and benefit the local community. We hope you will be able to share you culture with locals so that they will gain new experience through your interactions.

Here at our land stewardship continues to evolve so things may change as needed, but we try to adhere to a schedule that allows you to connect with nature while balancing fun and responsibilities. The land you will be helping care for is beautiful and very natural, with native tree species interspersed with banana, papaya native herbs and vegetables, ponds, gardens, natural buildings, and trails to explore.

The project urgently needs help with the following:
    * Earthen building restoration (previous experience with cob or adobe building is a plus)
    * Organize and establishing seed saving program
    * Social media and website updates

    Accommodations:
We have several earthen building dorm rooms, bathroom and showers, stable Wi-Fi and a center house for playing music, reading, yoga, meditation, etc.

    Food:
We will include 3 meals provided per week that we will plan together so that you can experience traditional Thai cooking. For all other meals, volunteers will have access to a full kitchen and time will be allowed in the schedule for cooking. We will also provide at least one trip per week to the local market where you can find local produce and support the Thai community. However, we encourage volunteers to prepare meals harvested from the garden as a part of connecting with the land.

    Work:
    * At least 5 hours/day with a break for lunch and siesta M-F
    * You may be tasked with a special project as noted above where we need specific help
    * Furthermore, we ask volunteers to help take part in the daily farm chores that will help you connect with the natural environment while you are here

    Fun:
We will laugh a lot together, share our cultures whether it’s through playing music ( I have keyboard, drums, flute, or guitar for you to play), cooking, sound healing, meditation, board games, or good conversation. I have an international background and look forward to hearing and learning about you own culture. We also have bikes for you to explore the area and highly recommend you plan a trip to visit the famous world heritage site Khaoyai National Park.

    Important Note:
We are a nature-first community, so we are not so good at using social media or technology. As such we may not respond immediately to your requests/messages, but we will try to get back to you as soon as we can. Your patience with us as we navigate the online world is much appreciated.
