    Description

Come and look after horses and cats in Ireland's beautiful and historic Boyne Valley, home to 60% of the world prehistoric art. We overlook the Boyne River and the Newgrange monument, perfect for learning more about the natural world, ideal for animal lovers/ fishermen and anyone with an interest in archaeology and history.

Our place is very suitable to people with a sincere love of horses. All four equines are extremely friendly and people loving. They have been reared by my mother and I and behave more like pets than your typical horse!

You would be staying in the heart of ancient Ireland. We have great travel links to Dublin city - Drogheda (12mins), Navan (15mins) both have frequent buses and trains traveling in to the city centre. Historic Slane village is 5 minutes from us and also has bus links to the city although less frequent. We are surrounded on all sides by ancient history where we are, there is an awful lot to learn for anyone with an appreciation of history and mythology, anyone who likes to paint or write will find themselves in a very special and peaceful place that will give you a chance to live in the world of imagination whilst at the same time not being too far civilization.

    Help

Help minding horses, ideally looking for someone with advanced experience in horse care/ highly capable rider. Someone who takes great pleasure in minding trees and the gardens would be very happy here, and you are very welcome to bring your own pet. You will be staying in a self contained renovated barn with beautiful views and you would be welcome to make the place your own. We are about 20 minutes from the beaches of Bettystown, Mornington and Laytown.
