Description
You will be working with the owner Tony, his wife Karen and 2 paid full time staff. Looking to be enveloped in authentic Asian culture while being connected to the outside world? Look no further than our guesthouse at Teluk Bahang, nestled in the heart of a charming Asian village and surrounded by lush jungle scenery and wildlife.
We are looking for volunteers who are able to help us with daily cleaning tasks - basic floors, gardens and cleaning - to handling guests with their needs - check ins, enquiries, etc. Additional skills such as paintings, bicycle repairs, masonry, are welcomed. In exchange for your help, we offer a cozy room to sleep in and use of our facilities in the guesthouse.
As a volunteer working with two other paid housekeeping staff, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the local culture, interact with the friendly villagers, and explore the stunning natural surroundings. You can take a stroll to the nearby beach, hike through the jungle to discover hidden waterfalls, or simply relax by swinging in the hammocks.
Our volunteers and guests are entitled to a range of amenities, including complimentary WiFi, bicycles to explore the stunning surroundings, fresh local fruits straight from the farm, and coffee and tea to enjoy at any time of the day. If you're lucky enough to visit during rambutan, durian, or jackfruit season, you'll be in for a real treat! We also offer free laundry services, so you can always be fresh and ready for your next adventure.

Daily maintenance, floor sweeping and general cleanliness of the area is our most needed task. Please ask when contacting us and we will let you know if we need help with it. Fixing the bicycles also necessary. If you stay to fix our bikes, you can spend your free time however you would like - in return for keeping them working for the duration of your stay.
