Description
Hello! We are a friendly, relaxed family who are soon moving to a beautiful, large house in the countryside on the edge of Exmoor in Somerset. Our home is surrounded by stunning rural landscapes and incredible walking routes, so this would suit someone who enjoys nature, fresh air, and a quieter countryside lifestyle.
We are hoping to find a couple or single traveller who would like to help look after our 4 year old daughter.
About our family:
We have three children. Two of them are older and spend most of their time away at boarding school. Our youngest daughter is four years old and lives at home with us. She is sweet, funny, a little cheeky, and great fun to be around.
Because we often travel to watch our older children play sports or attend events at school, we occasionally need help at home with our youngest, collecting her from nursery, giving her tea and playing fun games.
Pets:
We have a dog called Neville and my children are hoping very soon to add more animals into the house. For example, rabbits, a pony and a snake! So I hope that you like animals...

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We would especially love to host a couple, as the house is quite rural and it can be nice to have company.
We live near the lovely small town of Wiveliscombe, which has a few great pubs, a delicatessen and a supermarket. The surrounding countryside is absolutely beautiful, with endless walks and nature right on the doorstep.
The wilds of Exmoor are not far away for walking or riding and the surfing beaches of Woolacombe and Putsborough. There is lots of magnificent coastline to explore.

Help
The kind of help we are looking for might include:
Nursery pick-ups and occasional childcare for our 4-year-old.
You will need to be able to drive, as we are in a rural location.

French: Beginner

Accommodation
You will have your own private bedroom and a shared bathroom. All the rooms are very comfortable and nice and large.
During the day we can cook and eat as a family for breakfast and lunch (or you are welcome to eat separately if you prefer). I usually do a big weekly shop. In the evening, I usually ask for you to be out of the kitchen by 7pm, so that I can have supper alone with my husband, which allows us to catch up on the day and discuss our other work projects but you are very welcome to cook and eat in the kitchen before us.
What else ...
We are a warm, welcoming and easy-going family and we really enjoy meeting people from different places. We hope to find someone (or a couple) who feels comfortable becoming part of family life while helping out a little along the way.

Neville (8 months)
Neville is a big, friendly English Bull Terrier. He looks scary but he is a total softy. Only 7 months old, so he has a lot to learn.
