  • Description

    Description

This is a non-profit Texas based community arts and agricultural project. Our sustainable farm provides meat and produce for feeding the artists and the staff. We have dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, geese, goats and rabbits that we currently raise here. We also have composting toilets and grey water systems used to water the gardens. We provide opportunities for volunteers to participate in infrastructure projects including gardening and natural building.

Travellers will get to meet our resident artists who work here during the Fall season, and learn about small town life, sustainable farming and agriculture on a small scale, and also some building if you have building experience.

  • Help

    Help

We need people to help us get the fall gardens ready for planting, and also to do some food preservation (canning/freezing). We raise rabbits, ducks, geese, goats, chickens and goats on our farm as well as seasonal vegetables and fruits. Our farm is still young and we are still in the midst of finishing many of the buildings.
