Description
Hi, we are a little family of three, my husband Pepe who is Spanish, and a pharmacist/therapist, our daughter who is 9 years old, and me, Aisling, an English teacher from Ireland, plus the cat! We are into music, swimming, water sports, hill walking, concerts, and travelling. We speak English, Spanish and a little French. We live in the city of Cartagena, an ancient Roman city by the sea, in an apartment in a very old building.

Cartagena is currently a very popular site for archaeologists and tourists alike. While not a huge city, it does have a lot to offer, and there is a small community of foreigners who will welcome you too. We are close to the sea and if you wish to learn Spanish, it is ideal

Help
I am looking for some help around the home, preparation of meals, some light housework like tidying or ironing, and also someone to spend a few hours with my daughter twice a week, preferably a French native speaker. We would expect about 2/3 hours per day of collaboration, depending on the tasks. Sometimes this could mean getting some shopping, or cooking lunch *️️we all eat together most days at 14.30, or on Tuesday and Thursdays being with Lia from 16-19.00 while I am working. Other days it could mean running the vacuum over the apartment or doing some ironing. I dont need someone who is a great chef, I can provide ideas and recipes, although some experience with cooking would be fantastic. We are looking for someone independent, who will make use of their free time doing activities and will not rely on the family full time for company, although we are more than happy to spend time with you also.
We live on the third floor, with no lift.Languages spoken

You will be offered a room with a double bed in the apartment adjacent to ours. There you have also a kitchen and bathroom. We will probably expect you to do your own thing for breakfast, as we are always in a hurry in the morning, rushing out to school. We will have lunch in our apartment, and dinner depends, we can both be flexible.
