Hello ,
I have a small natural camping site and guest house.
It is located just just north from Hossegor in a beautiful stretch of typical Landes pine forest and close to some empty and beaches.

The south west of France in general and in particular the natural environment around here is something I am benefiting from every day and I am be happy to share that natural beauty and space here.
There is also a great variety of cultures in the area including the Basque and Spanish culture and a fairly international crowd in the Hossegor area and also here at the guest house.Host offers payment in line with the minimum wage

Help
I would need some help to run the natural guest house here. Main duties in season are cleaning, laundry, gardening and occasionally welcoming the guests. Weekly work hours & wage will depend on individual agreements depending on your needs, skill sets and needs at the guest house.
Looking at the last years mid season there would be an average of 20h per week (april/mai/june/september/october) with a minimum wage per hour no matter which season.
High season (july/august) and winter ( november,december,january,february,march) it is generally less hours unless there is specific larger projects in winter which happen at times.
In summer 70% of the working time is scheduled and off season I would say 70% is unscheduled so a lot can be done in the week when ever it fits.
Outside work especially in summer we mostly enjoy the beaches and waves behind the house together but everyone is pretty free to do what ever they prefer. The natural surrounding here are also perfect for running, biking and so much more...

Accommodation
A private traditional room for the colder months and a caravan, hut or tipi on the staff campsite the rest of the year. The staff area in general has a tipi as communal crew space + 2 basic kitchens and 2 basic bath rooms.

Mostly enjoying the nature... Hiking, surfing, running, biking, yoga, meditation and so much more.

Yes if you have your own camper van it is ideal since we have a little staff campsite now with simple but nice kitchens and bathroooms.

Jan is a very generous host and it was a pleasure meeting him! the location is just perfect, close to the waves and surrounded by the Forest. the hours you have to work are as he mentioned on his profile. the work is easy and you have plenty of time to go surf.
