    Restoring a 54 ft Sailing Ketch, CT54 in the Southern Caribbean. Looking for crew to assist in the work, we are out of the water on land with a lot of work needed, the boat was abandoned for years and filled up with water, some areas need ripping out completely, plenty of cleaning, sanding and painting.

    The boat yard we are located in is in the scenic area of Chaguaramas, Trinidad. Plenty of hiking, beach nearby, local cuisine. Lots of different nationalities in the boat yard, you will meet Americans, Europeans, South Africans, Australians as well as local Caribbean people.

    Opportunity to learn about sailboat maintenance and repairs.

    Anyone with Woodworking skills or electrical skills would be a bonus but plenty of general cleaning, fibreglass work, sanding, painting, and other unskilled labour duties so no experience needed. just ask for a maximum of 4 hours a day doing something constructive.

    Queen size bed in the aft cabin of the vessel we are restoring, air conditioned. Other areas of the boat are being worked on so for now toilet, shower and washing facilities are in the main shower block of the boat yard. Food will be provided. Free Wifi.

    Plenty to do in the immediate area and even more a short taxi ride away. Ideal for those who love hiking, swimming and nature. Port of Spain nearby has plenty of night life, bars and clubs, though transport can be an issue late at night.
