    The Project
Join us in our peaceful retreat near Città di Castello. We manage 8 apartments and a large panoramic garden with a pool. Our core values are silence and disconnection, offering our guests a space to truly unplug. We are looking for practical, energetic help to keep this corner of paradise in perfect shape starting from April.

    What We Need (The Help)
We are looking for a "hands-on" approach for daily outdoor activities:
Green Management: Mowing, weeding, and general land care.
Pruning: Seasonal care of trees and shrubs.
Pool Care: Daily cleaning and maintenance of the panoramic pool area.
General Maintenance: Small repairs, painting, and DIY projects.
Hospitality Support: Keeping all outdoor common areas tidy and welcoming.

    Who We Are Looking For
Couples/Friends Preferred: Ideal for two people who enjoy working together.
Car Owners: Essential for your own independence and to explore the region.
Independent & Proactive: Able to manage tasks responsibly without constant supervision.
Respectful: You must value silence and the privacy of our guests.
Flexibility: We accept both short-term and long-term stays (starting April).

    What’s In It For You
Private Space: Accommodation that allows for total autonomy and privacy during your time off.
The Location: A perfect base to discover the medieval charms of Umbria and Tuscany.
Atmosphere: A chance to live in a place dedicated to nature and "slow living."

    Quick Checklist:
    ✔ Responsible & Independent
✔ Enthusiastic about physical outdoor tasks
✔ Nature lovers who appreciate quiet environments
    ✔ Car-equipped for personal mobility

Note: If you have specific technical skills (carpentry, plumbing, etc.) or new ideas to improve our space, let us know in your message!

✨ If you’re looking for a Workaway experience that combines Italian countryside charm, sustainability, language teaching and learning, hands-on learning, and time in nature during your free time, we’d love to hear from you.

In September we will start planting lavander and we are in need of some help with that. If you’d join us visit us during that month, expect some garden work with us. But don’t worry, we’ll make it fun.

I am trying to get better with my English so I would love to chat with you about meaningful topics, so that I can learn to engage with my guests more comfortably.

I would be happy if you’d join us every once in a while to have meals together in the garden or exploring together the beauty of Umbria, and you’re more than welcome to also take your own time on your own.

With us you will have the chance to learn everything there is to know about Italian slow living, cooking traditions, managing an agriturismo, working the land and why not, also creating meaningful connections with our guests.

Let’s create something beautiful together. 💛

    Help

We need extra hands to keep running smoothly. Our most pressing need at the moment is to get some help during September for gardening work.

    Gardening and Pool
💜 In October, we will plant lavender bushes and we are in need of help to make this process fun and more doable.
🌱 Tidying and maintaining herbs, flowers
🚜 Helping with small DIY projects
🧹Maintaining paths & outdoor areas (raking leaves, sweeping stone walkways, keeping things neat)
🌊Pool maintenance (1h per day). Making sure that the area is tidy, that the sunbeds are ready for the guests and that the water is safe and clean to swim in. This has to be done in the morning, before guests are awake.

    Hospitality
💡 Giving guests a warm welcome & sharing local tips (great for social Workawayers!)
📸 Taking photos/videos for social media (if they have creative skills)
🍷 Organizing small aperitivo moments for guests (local wine & snacks)
    🛏️Help with check-ins and check-outs
    ✏️Support with secretarial activities

    Pocket money and stay
🛏️We offer free accomodation in exchange for your help. You'll have your own separate apartment and private space. There is a big garden where you can relax and a pool to chill in during the hottest hours.
💶 You will receive small weekly allowance for your help of 80 euros (based on 4-5h per days, 5 days a week). The tasks will be vaired, and we want to mantain a respectful atmosphere
🍽️Food is not included in the stay, but you'll have access to a fully furnished kitchen and basic essentials to prepare your own meals. We'll be happy to share meals every once in a while for cultural exchanges
🌍 Due to Workaway requirements, we do expect you to have a valid visa or permit to visit us in Italy!

📍 We are located in Umbria, near Città di Castello. The closest train stations and transport options will be shared when you confirm your stay.

🚗 Our property is quite far from the city and from bus stops, so it is important for you to have a licence. When possible we can offer a ride to the city, otherwise we can discuss you borrowing our car to go to the supermarket or for day trips.

💬 We speak Italian and English (and love exchanging languages!).

📅 Minimum stay: 3 weeks preferred, but we’re open to shorter or longer stays depending on the situation.

We have a female dog (Swissh Sheperd), and our guests might have some dogs with them too. Bora gets along with all dogs, she mainly minds her business and studies her animal guests from far, and might try playing with them. We will be more than happy to welcome your dog in our property!
