    Description

We have 16 acres that has been in our family for 120+ years. We are 3 family members living on the property; 55, 75 and 78 and it’s simply too much for us to manage alone.

We are looking for able-bodied, like-minded, sane and healthy individuals to share our homestead and knowledge. Here’s what we expect: able-bodies work during early morning and evening hours during hot (100+) temps on garden and building projects. Lift and move 50-100 lbs.

We pace ourselves for sure though! Like-minded folks have very similar beliefs and even if they don’t absolutely agree it’s not a huge leap and can agree to disagree on the smaller issues. We believe in God and Family-STRONGLY! We do NOT allow drugs or alcohol, not even marijuana!! NO exceptions!! We keep the negativity and swearing to a minimum out of respect for everyone! Sane-Well now, that is a relative term, lol. But kindness and love go a long ways towards this end. Healthy-we eat a Whole Foods diet and limit processed and high carb foods.

The projects we’d work on range from building structures to repairing existing ones, expanding our growing and processing the food for storage. Community education events and celebrations.

Basically we invite you to come be a part of our family.

There’s a ton more to tell but let’s talk!
