Description
I rented some land about 2.5 yrs ago and set myself up off grid with solar panels and water from the mountain.
its time for a break, I plan to travel for a couple of months, maybe more so it would be good to have someone to house/pet sit in exchange for accommodation, eggs from my 12 hens and i will supply some food, coffee, tea etc you can use. -

Help
Off Grid mountain Jungle huts - look after 12 hens & 1 cat
from Mid Oct/Nov until mid December / but maybe flexible with dates.
Ideal for a hermit who loves nature, meditation & animals. maybe for a couple but its a small space.
12 x Hens, (10-20 mins per day to feed and clean out the coop a bit) you get free eggs every day and any surplus eggs can go to the landlord, and you can use any food that I will leave in the fridge, feezer, storage..
there is a cat who found me and worked her way into staying here, she is very sweet, takes care of any rats around the land.
she loves to be outdoors most of the time, but asks for a bit of food/treats twice a day and sleeps in the hut at night, usually on the window ledge next to the bed. -

Accommodation
5mins drive from the main road close to haad yao/haad salad.
up a steep concrete road / hill. best if you have experience riding a scooter (which I can provide) or its several mins to walk up.
Hut1: 4x4m wooden hut with insulated metal roof, full solar system, full size fridge/freezer, water comes from nearby mountain. gas powered hot shower, full size gas oven, bathtub, video projector:(use only after a sunny day), Bluetooth speaker, office desk & chair, dehumidifier, fan, water filter, blender, Bamboo wardrobe, comfy single latex mattress with mosquito net, laptop monitor, queen size rooftop day bed with amazing sea & mountain view, ideal for mornings and sunset or daytime sun bathing. theres a phone signal but its far from the mobile tower (50% strength), there is a wifi system that is set up with a sim card, around 10 to 30mbps. can be easily switched off at night. -
What else ...
nearby secret waterfalls -10mins walk.. (only rainy season - mid oct until dec/jan+)
there are 2 hornets (wasps) who made their tiny clay homes inside the hut, they are peaceful, and mind their own business. they fly past my face a few times a day. all is good..
the photos show all my things there, but I will remove all clothes/personal items into storage.
November might rain a lot, it might be a bit cold/damp, so the de humidifier needs to be used, there are extra blankets if needed. it has a very good roof, no leaks.
sometimes some things need fixing, like water pipes etc, the landlord can help but it can be ideal for someone who is a bit of a handy person just incase.

Hut 2: I have another jungle hut 30 mins walk up the mountain from hut 1 where you will stay or 10 mins with an off road bike. its more basic and more ideal to be used for meditation / hanging out as the facilities are very basic.
water from the mountain / water hole/spring
small solar panel: enough to charge a phone. (no fridge)
small gas bottle for cooking/boiling water.
compost toilet.
very remote/isolated.
there is a good phone signal from the village below.
this place doesn't need looking after but you can walk up and use it if you like. -
