  There is the opportunity to accompany me to my school and get to know our school system. I speak English and French fluently and am always very interested in exchanging ideas with people from other cultures.
  
  
  Es gibt die Möglichkeit mich zu meiner Schule zu begleiten und unser Schulsystem kennenzulernen. Ich spreche Englisch und Französisch fließend und bin immer sehr interessiert mich mit Menschen anderer Kulturen auszutauschen.

  Help

  There are no set activities and tasks for the help I expect from workawayers. The activities are partly seasonal and can vary greatly. Of course, the areas of responsibility also depend on the skills and wishes of the workawayer.
  
  At the moment there is wood to split and to pile for the ovens. There are two rooms to repaint and renovate. There are doors and some stairs to sand of/to grind. And there is insulation to apply. Weekly we have to rake the leaves together, so that the rain will not flood our buildings.
  
  In summer there is the swimming pool to clean and to care for. We grow vegetables. Every year we try to paint and mend one part of our timber-framed buildings.
  
  
  Es gibt keine festgesetzten Aktivitäten und Aufgaben für die Hilfe, die ich von Workawayern erwarte. Die Tätigkeiten sind teilweise saisonal bedingt und können sehr stark variieren. Natürlich hängen die Aufgabenbereiche auch von den Fähigkeiten und Wünschen der Workawayer ab.

  Accommodation

  On the lower floor of the mill there are several guest rooms with private bathrooms and a small kitchen. Generally, the kitchen on the upper floor is shared. On weekends, breakfast, lunch and dinner can be eaten together. During the week only one dinner together is possible.
  
  
  In der unteren Etage der Mühle sind mehrere Gästezimmer mit eigenem Bad und einer kleinen Küche. Generell wird die Küche in der oberen Etage gemeinsam genutzt. An Wochenenden können Frühstück-, Mittag-, und Abendessen gemeinsam eingenommen werden. Während der Woche ist nur ein gemeinsames Abendessen möglich.

  What else ...

  The Schwalm is a very rural area and our mill is in a secluded location on the edge of the forest. There are many hiking routes and bike paths to explore. Workawayers could explore the two cities of Marburg and Homberg, which have very beautiful old towns with many beautiful half-timbered houses. In the city of Kassel, which is 50 kilometers away, there is also the Hercules and the Wilhelmshöhe mountain park, which are part of the world cultural heritage. Kassel is a city of art, the Documenta takes place there regularly.
  
  
  Die Schwalm ist eine sehr ländliche Gegend und unsere Mühle liegt in Alleinlage am Waldrand. Es gibt viele Wanderrouten und Fahrradwege zu erkunden.
  Workawayer könnten die beiden Städte Marburg und Homberg erkunden, die sehr schöne Altstädte mit vielen wunderschönen Fachwerkhäusern haben. In der Stadt Kassel, die 50 Kilometer entfernt ist befindet sich außerdem der Herkules und der Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe, die zum Weltkulturerbe gehören. Kassel eine Stadt der Kunst, dort findet regelmäßig die Documenta statt.
