    Description

My husband and I live in a large home overlooking the sea in Sligo with our very small elderly dog.

Sligo is a costal town in the North West of Ireland and is part of the Wild Atlantic Way. Sligo is best known for its magnificent landscape - it has multiple beaches, mountains and forests. If you are outdoorsy and like adventure and/or nature, water sports, hiking, exploring etc, we are confident you will love Sligo and all it has to offer.

Our house is located approximately 10 minutes drive from Sligo town and less than 10 minutes from Rosses Point village and well known beach (we are on the main Sligo bus route so you will be able to pop into town or to Rosses Point village/beach, Strandhill beach/village at your leisure outside your Workaway hours),

Rosses Point village is probably best known for its beach and spectacular views but it also has two wonderful pub/restaurants, an amazing coffee shop, convenience store, golf course, yacht club - all of which come with magnetic views.

With our large home comes maintenance and a large garden (which requires a lot of maintenance) so following a friend recommending Workaway, we are looking for someone who can help in our garden (do power washing, strim hedges, mow the lawns, do weeding, weed killing etc) and help maintain it. Someone who can potentially cook and clean would be wonderful. DIY skills would be very welcome but the main tasks in return for staying in our beautiful seaside house are garden maintenance/ painting in the garden.

In return for 5 hours help, 5 days a week you will live as part of our family by the sea (or be as independent as you wish and use our home as a base outside your Workaway hours to explore all that the Wild Atlantic Way has to offer).

We have immediate family who live in Dublin so it may be possible for you to visit Dublin during your Workaway and stay with them depending on their plans so you could potentially have the both of best Irish worlds - Irish country and city life.
