Description
I own and operate a boutique tour and safari company in Namibia. We deal with travelers from all over the world who take trips to Namibia, Botswana, or Kenya. We are currently working on expanding to more African countries and building new tour packages.
Being situated on the coast, there's plenty of opportunity to visit the Walvis Bay lagoon and see the flamingos. Go for a walk/run along the lagoon or Stand-up paddle boarding. With the sand dunes very close by sandboarding is also an activity for pleasant afternoons.
While we work closely with activity operators in the area. Boat Trips in the bay, kayaking with the seals, or trips to Sandwich harbor present themselves more often than not for our guests.
We currently have 3 full-time staff members who contribute to our success. It is our hope that hosting workawayers will give a more international perspective to our local staff.

Tourism in Namibia is a very easygoing industry. With the opportunity to meet and work with our suppliers you will be able to take full advantage of tour activities around the central coastal region of Namibia and possibly beyond.
Workawayers will join us as we live our life, BBQ'ing, beach trips, sandboarding, or water activities. There is an opportunity to share the relaxed lifestyle we live by.
Help
As a tour company, we are looking for help around the office, building tour packages, and cultural exchange. The foreign language of countries we work with, help with translations of tour products and marketing materials would be of great advantage.
Sharing any special skills that could be useful or just sharing ideas.

Accommodation
Our office and operations are based at home in a large 4 bedroom house. Workawayers will be accommodated in their own private room within the house.
Maintenance and cleaning are taken care of by 2 dedicated staff members Monday-Friday.
There's always food in the house, and workawayers are welcome to help themselves.
Dinner is often prepared together as an activity and we look forward to learning new meals.

Time off in Walvis Bay you could go Stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking with the seals, boat tours around the bay, and even visit Sandwich harbor.
