  Description

  Hello!
  
  We're a blended family of three, with a four-year-old son who's here every other week!
  
  We live in a large house that could do with some renovations, and we have an acre of land with chickens, dogs, two horses, and a cat. (Goats coming soon!)
  Dimitri is a carpenter, and I'm a farm worker.
  
  We have a pretty quiet life, taking care of the animals, gardening, doing outdoor tasks, construction projects, going to farmers' markets, etc.

  Nous sommes une famille recomposée de 3 avec un petit garcon de 4ans ici une semaine sur deux!
  On habite dans une grande maison qui a besoin de rénovations, on a un hectare de terrains avec des poules, des chiens, deux chevaux et un chat. (Bientôt des chèvres)
  Dimitri est charpentier et moi je suis employée agricole.
  On a une vie assez tranquille entre soins aux animaux, potager, travaux d’exterieur, chantiers, marchés de producteurs, etc…

  We live in a lovely little region where it's easy to make friends. Our neighbors/tenants are musicians and super friendly. We love having meals at home with friends, playing board games, and when we have time, we go to game nights. Dimitri speaks fluent English and French, and I also speak a little Spanish. There are a lot of English speakers around here.

  On vit dans un petit département assez chouette où il est facile de tisser des liens, nos voisins/locataires sont musiciens et super sympas, on adore faire des repas à la maison avec les copaines, on joue à des jeux de société et quand on a le temps on va à des soirées jeux.
  Dimitri parle couramment anglais et français, moi en plus je parle un peu d’espagnol.
  Il y a beaucoup d’anglophones par ici.

  Help

  We require help in many areas, especially with outdoor tasks (clearing brush, creating a pond, tree care, vegetable garden, fencing, planting hedges) if you're interested. If you have any experience with horses, it would be great to take them out as well… It depends on what interests you; it could even be household tasks or spending time with the little one if you get along (but that's really not a priority). Feeding the animals, taking the dogs for walks. A relaxed pace.

  On aurait besoin d’aide à plein de niveaux, notamment avec les travaux d’extérieurs (débroussaillage, création d’une mare, soins aux arbres, potager, clôtures, plantation haie)
  Si vous avez des connaissances dans les chevaux ce serait cool de les sortir aussi…
  C’est selon ce qui vous intéresse, ça pourrait même être du ménage dans la maison ou passer du temps avec le petit si ça colle entre vous (mais ça c’est vraiment pas une priorité)

  Accommodation

  We have a spare room in our house, and there's also room for a tent outside if the weather is nice, with shared use of the common areas. We might also have space for a caravan soon. Dimitri loves to cook, and we mainly eat locally sourced and organic food, so we can all eat together. However, if you don't want to cook too much, you can cook your own meals in our kitchen.
  
  We eat organic, fairly varied food and not much meat.
  In the morning, we usually have tea or coffee, and a piece of fruit or some porridge.
  And we generally try to balance all our meals with protein, starches, and vegetables.
  We eat lunch and dinner, rather early when we have the little one, and whenever we're hungry the rest of the time.

  On a une chambre libre dans notre maison, il y a aussi la place pour une tente à l’extérieur s’il fait beau avec partage des lieux communs, et peut être bientôt une caravane.
  Dimitri adore cuisiner, on se nourrit principalement localement et bio, alors on peut manger toustes ensembles, mais il y a aussi possibilité si vous ne voulez pas trop travailler de ne pas manger avec nous et cuisiner votre nourriture dans notre cuisine.
  
  On mange bio, plutôt varié et peu de viande.
  Le matin plutôt thé ou café, et un fruit ou du porridge.
  Et généralement on essaye d’équilibrer tous nos repas avec protéines ,féculent et légumes.
  On mange le midi et le soir, plutôt tôt quand on a le petit et quand on a faim le reste du temps.

  What else ...

  The surrounding countryside is lovely, so you can go for walks. We go down to the market twice a week, and we're free to get around the rest of the week too, depending on our plans. There's no public transport, but hitchhiking works very well. We limit screen time for the children, so we don't want anyone glued to their phone, or watching videos or anything like that in front of the children who live here. You can bring your pet if it's used to chickens and doesn't bark all day.

  Autour c’est la campagne, alors vous pouvez aller vous promener à pied, nous on descend au marché deux fois par semaine, et on peut bouger le reste de la semaine aussi, ça dépend.
  Il n’y a pas de transport en commun mais le stop fonctionne très bien.
  
  On limite les écrans devant les enfants, alors on ne veut pas de personne scotchée à son téléphone, pas de vidéos ou quoi devant les enfants qui habitent ici.
  
  Vous pouvez venir avec votre animal s’il est habitué aux poules et qu’il n’aboie pas toute la journée.

  C’est un mère à croisé crème de 6ans. Il est tout calme et adore les câlins

  C’est un Pre x Tf de 6ans qui est un peu impressionnant si on connaît pas trop les chevaux, mais en vérité c’est un amour

  

  Sale chat

  C’est le chat de la maison, il est un peu bizarre mais finalement assez cool

  

  Venus

  C’est une chihuahua aussi très sympa qui zone au soleil toute la journée

  

  Sowe

  Sowe est un border collie super sympa qui nous aide à rentrer les poules
