This is a multi functional Farm in Kalamata, which promotes the agricultural legacy of Messinia. Our goal is to share our love for nature and the Arts.
In a 5.500 m² land, the Farm combines nature's beauty with human inspiration, providing an experience to both adults and children. Our Facilities include an amphitheater, where cultural events are hosted during the summer season. The Main Building of 120m² is available for all kinds of seminars, feasts and social events. We also have five separate workrooms, where agricultural workshops take place like olive oil soap and essential oil production, as well as marmelade and other traditional greek products.
Sotiris, the owner of the Farm, is an art and nature lover! He enjoys spending time in the farm and has achieved combining his two passions! His idea of the place was to bring people together and enjoy the experience living a simple life in the nature away from the city. He likes good food and a nice conversation with a glass of wine!

Helping with Tourists
Learn how to live simple providing and harvesting goods to cover your daily needs! We organize gastronomic seminars where we have the opportunity to create and taste traditional dishes from Greece and the world. Art workshops for both adults and children take place in the small amphitheatre during the summer period. We work as a family and take care of everything that is needed in the Farm (maintenance, cooking, producing and having fun!)
Our plan for now is to create a new small garden with vegetable and fruit and another corner with aromatic herbs. You can help us make this idea real. You can also help us prepare and organize the indoor and outdoor space (clear away the fallen leaves, take away the branches of the olive trees, plant flowers, organize the basement and storage room etc) for the summer time.
We also have some tree houses, that we want to re-build/ repair. So if you are good at building with wood materials, we would like you to help us for this task and all new ideas are more than welcome.
Greek, English, German
There are two ways for volunteers to be accommodated: 1) They can stay in the Farm on tree houses (during the summer) or in the employee dorm rooms made of stone. 2) The volunteers can stay in the city of Kalamata and be transported to the Farm, which is 15-20 mins away from the city center.
We make and eat breakfast and lunch all together. For dinner everyone is free to make a snack or a meal using the kitchen.
Kalamata is aprox. 3hrs away from Athens. You can reach Kalamata from Athens by Bus. To see the Bus schedule just google Ktel Messinia and you can find all the information you need about how to get to us!
Kalamata is a great destination for both summer and winter season! Expioring the city is a nice way to learn about the Greek tradition. The old city in the north of Kalamata has many Bars, Cafes and Restaurants with good food and traditional delicacies.
