    Description

We are a bubbly little campsite and rural pub in the Lincolnshire Wolds area of England with a thriving seasonal businesses that includes glamping pods and tents, a campsite and a pub which serves our guests, locals and other tourists in the area.

Our small hands on team is made up of the husband and wife owners, some local PT staff and seasonal staff. Our aim to to create a holiday environment atmosphere to work within.

Its a pretty area for walking, cycling and countryside exploring. About 40 minutes drive from Lincoln and the Lincolnshire coast. Having transport is useful for getting about - even a bike helps. The only public transport is a call connect bus service (its a bit like a taxi bus that you pre-book).

Develop your hospitality skills in a varied tourism business, which encompasses glamping, camping, food and drinks service and be employable throughout the world.

We love taking on young people and teaching them the tricks of the trade and letting them bring their own personality to our business. Each year is different and the exchange between new people keeps our business fresh and vibrant.

In the area, the Lincolnshire Wolds is an AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) and very popular with walkers, motorbikes and cyclists. We have a renowned racing circuit (Cadwell Park) near by that is visited by bikers and car racers throughout Europe.

The city of Lincoln is one of England's oldest with a cathedral dating back a thousand years that dominates the local landscape. In the other direction is 22 miles of sandy coastline, including popular seaside resorts of Skegness and Cleethorpes.

Our business is rural, with limited public transport but a great opportunity to walk the hills and Wolds in which we live. Our staff are friendly, with frequent trips into our local towns made for provisions and rest time if you need to get something or venture out. There is a book a bus service.

  • Help

    Help

We need seasonal staff from April to September to help us with all aspects of what we do on a campsite and within a pub: this means bar work, serving or waiting on people, kitchen help and basic cooking, occasional housekeeping and gardening. It also means you have to be able to legally work in the UK. We will house you in a basic pod and you will need to cook and look after yourself as if camping although there is some usually some food and drinks to hand when on shift.

Most work is within hospitality, pouring drinks, making food and serving tables and camping pitches with food, drink and firewood.

We are looking to take on single people, no pets. The key requirement is to be social, happy and energetic with a friendly nature that settles quickly. The more things you can do the better, but high level experience is not essential. As long as you can learn quickly and are willing to work flexibly and are happy to muck in and do all aspects, then we will try to develop your skills. Hospitality skills, customer service experience is very useful!

    What else ...

Visit our local towns of Louth and Horncastle. Visit the city of Lincoln. Take a trip to the coast but if you can drive this will really help.
If you can't drive we are happy to meet and pick up from local train stations at Lincoln or Grimsby and there are lots of walks available in the local area. Cyclists will enjoy the area too.
