    Description

I am a single mum, english, but have lived for 26 years in Italy. My daughter studies in the UK.
Now need help with fence post planting and wood preparation for the winter, animal care and house hold duties.
I live in the country just outside a Castel del Piano. I have one dog, one cat and two horses. One of the horses is a 7 year old gelding and needs some training and daily contact , the other is his mother and is retired.

From our house to the village it is ten minutes walk. The village has everything basic that one needs. In winter seeing as we live also on a mountain, it's twenty minutes up to the ski slopes and in summer one hour away from the beach, that's in the opposite direction. Pubblic transport is bus and can take you to the nearest cities like Grosseto (45 minutes), Florence (2 and a half hours) and Siena (one hour and a half). Rome(3 hours and a half) by bus and train, the station in Grosseto. I am mostly vegetarian but eat fish, cheeses and alson meats . We havn't got a television but have unlimited internet.

I am quite quiet and enjoy being outside. I am studying a course given by Fritjof Capra and participate in a Russian book club. I live in an old house, a few things where I live are modern, but I live in absolute SIMPLICITY. The house is heated by wood and therefore is cold in some parts at some times of the day. The hot water is available in the evening. I usually shop once or twice a week. I am prepared to cook one meal a day, although sometimes it will be prepared the day before. Therefore breakfast and one meal you will need to prepare.

Slow italian life in a small country town, on a mountain an hour from the sea, and conversation with an alternative healthcare practitioner who has worked for over 30 years.

    Help

Collecting wood and stacking it for the winter. Maintenence and building of wooden and electric fencing. Walk dog and feed dog and cat.
I need also help with cleaning in the house and cellar.
You need to be self motivated, used to working alone, comfortable in the countryside and willing to try to consume as little as possible electricity, gas and water.
