The property includes a forest, a former school building, an atelier, an orangerie, and a château. It’s a place with rich potential and a lot of character.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Beyond the work, the space encourages genuine cultural exchange. Whether it’s over shared meals, conversations around the fire, or creative sessions in the atelier or orangerie, everyone is invited to share their skills, learn from others, and find inspiration in the community. Visitors come from all walks of life, and the diversity of backgrounds makes each stay unique. Through food, language, art, or hands-on projects, this place offers a space to learn, connect, and create together at a thoughtful, human pace.

  • Help

    Help

We need help running the everyday BnB (preparing meals, making rooms, engaging with guests, laundry, cleaning, small renovations) in the Chateau and hosting other events.

I'm also looking to renovate the buildings surrounding the chateau and to develop a small permaculture plot to bring the land into fuller ecological balance. If you're passionate about sustainable agriculture and enjoy working in a creative, hands-on environment, I’d love to hear from you.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

Accommodation is provided on-site, with several comfortable options depending on the season and availability. You may stay in private or shared rooms within the former schoolhouse or in simple but cozy spaces in the château itself. In warmer months, there's also the possibility to camp on the grounds, surrounded by nature and under the stars.

The atmosphere is peaceful and communal, with shared living areas, a kitchen, and access to showers and basic amenities. While the setting is rustic, it’s full of charm and character—ideal for those who appreciate simplicity, creativity, and connection to the land.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

During your free time, there’s plenty to explore in the surrounding region. The Loire Valley is known for its breathtaking landscapes, historic villages, and world-famous châteaux—many of which can be visited by bike or local train. The nearby towns offer lively farmers' markets, artisan bakeries, and small cafés where you can experience authentic French rural life.

The region is also rich in cultural events, especially in summer, including music festivals, night markets, and open-air cinema. If you’re interested in art, writing, photography, or simply reconnecting with nature, this can be a deeply inspiring place to spend some time.

We value open-minded, curious individuals who enjoy both quiet moments and shared experiences. Whether you're coming to contribute skills or to learn something new, you’ll be part of a creative and grounded environment, shaped by respect for the land and each other.
