Seelbach is idyllically located in the middle Black Forest between Freiburg and Strasbourg (~ 45 minutes to Freiburg), is a town of 5,000 inhabitants with a small town feel, beautiful surroundings and nice people - and everything you need: pubs and restaurants, farmers' market, swimming pool, sauna , two supermarkets. Health food store, doctors, schools, VHS, etc. - Lahr is about 5km away, with around 48,000 inhabitants.
If you want to live "close to nature in the countryside" and still in "civilization" with good infrastructure connections, this is the right place for you - ideal for digital nomads - a break where others go on vacation.

Seelbach liegt idyllisch im mittleren Schwarzwald zwischen Freiburg und Straßbourg (~ 45 Minuten nach Freiburg), ist ein 5000 Einwohnerort mit kleinstädtischem Flair, schöner Umgebung und mit netten Menschen - und allem, was man so braucht: Kneipen und Restaurants, Bauernmarkt, Schwimmbad, Sauna, zwei Supermärkten. Reformhaus, Ärzten, Schulen, VHS, etc. - Lahr ist ca. 5km weit weg, mit rund 48 000 Einwohnern.
Wer "naturnah im Grünen" und trotzdem in der "Zivilisation" mit gutem Infrastrukturanschluss leben möchte, ist hier genau richtig - ideal für Digital Nomads - Auszeit da, wo andere Urlaub machen.

I am looking for a house and pet sitter for the period from the beginning of June to the end of July/beginning of August - I would be there on weekdays and weekends - then I would be happy about evenings or activities together - or you have time to explore the region .
You are welcome to arrive in May - or stay here over the summer.
Then I would be happy about support in the garden, with some craft activities and joint activities.

Für die Zeit von Anfang Juni bis Ende Juli/Anfang August suche ich eine Haus- und Tiersitterin - für Wochentags, an den Wochenenden wäre ich vor Ort - dann freue ich mich über gemeinsame Abende oder Unternehmungen - oder Du hast Zeit, die Region zu erkunden.
Gerne kannst Du schon im Mai anreisen - oder den Sommer über hier sein.
Dann würde ich mich über Unterstützung im Garten, bei einigen handwerklichen Tätigkeiten und gemeinsame Unternehmungen freuen.

I won't be home during this time on weekdays and need someone to look after the house, dog and yard.
My dog (Mini Australian Shepherd 7 years) is well behaved and usually relaxed.
She wants to “be there” and “participate” - is very cooperative and attentive.
Needs loving consistency, exercise, “brain food” and enough rest periods to “wind down”.
Is used to being alone for a maximum of 5 hours.
My cat, 14 years old, is uncomplicated, affectionate when she has overcome her shyness and needs regular communication, petting and a can opener ;-).
My garden needs a lawn cut every now and then - otherwise it is there for you and your dog and cat to relax.

Ich bin in der genannten Zeit Wochentags nicht zuhause und brauche wen, der nach Haus, Hund und Hof schaut.
Meine Hündin (Mini Australian Shepherd 7 Jahre) ist gut erzogen und normalerweise relaxt.
Sie möchte "Mit-dabei-sein" und "mitmachen" - ist sehr kooperativ und aufmerksam.
Braucht liebevolle Konsequenz, Bewegung, "Hirnnahrung" und genügend Ruhepasen zum "Runterfahren".
Ist gewohnt, bis maximal 5 Stunden auch mal alleine zu sein.
Meine Katze, 14 Jahre, ist unkompliziert, anhänglich wenn sie Ihre Scheu überwunden hat und braucht regelmäßige Ansprache, Streicheleinheiten, und einen Dosenöffner ;-).
Mein Garten bräuchte ab und zu einen Rasenschnitt - ansonsten ist er für Dich und Hund& Katz zum relaxen da.

You live here in a spacious old building - with a total of 200m² of living and usable space + ~250m² yard & garden, barbecue area,...
On the 1st floor with 110m² there is a guest room with 16m², which you can make your own. It is furnished with a bed, wardrobe, desk and armchair.
Of course you can use the kitchen, dining room and living room with a daylight bathroom and bathtub on the same floor. There is also a guest toilet on the floor.
The equipment is rather simple, but technically state-of-the-art.
There is plenty of space and workroom, laundry room, ... on the ground floor.
There is a wooden stove in the kitchen so that you can use firewood.
You take care of yourself as much as possible.
Use of the farm and garden (also for harvesting), ... .
Electricity production partly through PV system, internet up to 250Mbit/s.
Quiet residential area with outdoor pool “around the corner”, spa approx. 5 minutes away. Nature, forest and meadows all around -

Du wohnst hier in einem großzügigen Altbau - mit insgesamt 200m² Wohn- und Nutzfläche + ~250m² Hof & Garten, Grillstelle, ..
Im 1.OG mit 110m² gibt es ein Gästezimmer mit 16m² , welches Du Deines werden kann. Es ist möbliert mit Bett, Schrank, Schreibtisch und Sessel.
Selbstverständlich nutzt Du die Küche, Esszimmer, Wohnzimmer Tageslichtbad mit Badewanne auf der gleichen Etage. Zudem gibt es auf der Etage eine Gästetoilette.
Die Ausstattung ist eher einfach, aber technisch auf neuestem Stand.
Es gibt viel Platz und Werkraum, Waschküche, ... im Erdgeschoss.
In der Küche steht ein Holzbeistellherd, so dass mit Brennholz beigefeuert werden kann.
Du versorgst Dich weitestgehend selbst.
Nutzung von Hof&Garten (gerne auch zum Ernten), ... .
Stromproduktion z.T. durch PV-Anlage, Internet bis zu 250Mbit/s .
Ruhige Wohngegend mit Freibad "um's Eck", Spa ca. 5 min, entfernt. Natur, Wald und Wiesen rundherum -
